These custom receiver hitches are built to tackle bigger jobs and bolder adventures, all while giving you a custom fit for your vehicle. Class 4 hitches are available for a variety of makes and models, from pickup trucks and SUVs to full-size and commercial vans. This particular class 4 hitch fits certain years of the Ford F150, F150 Heritage, F250, F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (to verify vehicle compatibility, see application info). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 10,000 lbs. GTW and 1,000 lbs. TW. It can also accept a weight distributing hitch, offering a maximum WD capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a WDTW of 1,200 lbs. CURT class 4 tow hitches are as much suited for work as they are for play. With their high load capacities, they are typically used for towing larger trailers, including everything from a double-axle utility trailer or livestock trailer to a full-length camper or large boat trailer (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). All CURT class 4 receiver hitches come with a 2 in. receiver tube opening and all the necessary hardware for a complete installation. From light-duty to heavy-duty, every CURT custom hitch is engineered to be vehicle-specific, using actual vehicles to create the optimal design. We then combine high-strength steel, precise welding and a co-cured finish of liquid Bonderite and durable black powder coat to provide you with a hitch you can depend on. Constructed from steel and engineered for power, these class 5 hitches are designed to complement the towing power of full-size, commercial pickup trucks, including diesels and chassis cabs. They can easily handle a variety of oversize trailers, including toy and car haulers, livestock trailers, dumper trailers, large flatbed trailers, large boat trailers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). This particular class 5 hitch features a gross trailer weight capacity of 20,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 2,700 lbs. It is designed to be a custom trailer hitch for certain years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). All CURT Commercial Duty class 5 hitches feature a 2-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. receiver tube opening to accept the strongest of ball mounts and towing accessories. They are perfect for mounting standard ball mounts, pintle mounts, tow hooks and weight distribution hitches as well as w in. mounts and cargo carriers. CURT class 5 Xtra Duty hitches begin a class of their own, beyond class 4 and beyond anything the standards dictate. They are designed for the hard road where only full-size pickup trucks, vans and SUVs dare to tread. They are capable of pulling almost any heavy-duty trailer, including toy haulers, dump trailers, logging trailers, small yacht trailers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). This particular Xtra Duty class 5 trailer hitch offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 17,000 lbs. and an extra-high tongue weight capacity of 2,550 lbs. It features a 2 in. x 2 in. receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory, such as a cargo carrier or w in. mount. It is designed to be a custom-fit trailer hitch for certain years of the Ford F250 Super Duty, F350 Super Duty and F450 Super Duty (to verify compatibility with your vehicle, see application info). For a little extra towing power and stability, this class 5 hitch can also be used in combination with a weight distributing hitch. It is rated for 17,000 lbs. WD and 2,550 lbs. WDTW. In our drive to create a more powerful hitch, CURT has not neglected the finer details. Our class 5 trailer hitches are welded with precision and go through multiple stages of cleaning to create a smooth surface that is ready to accept our co-cured finish.   • A CURT front trailer hitch allows you to use the front end of your vehicle for a variety of towing applications. They can be used for mounting a w in., a snow plow, a number of towing accessories and can even be used for some trailering applications. When space is limited, a front trailer hitch is commonly used to hold a cargo carrier, freeing up space inside the vehicle for extra cargo and making the rear mount receiver available to pull a trailer. At the boat ramp, your boat trailer can be hitched up to the front receiver hitch, giving you better control over the trailer as you launch. Some of the other accessories that can be used with a front tow hitch are the CURT w in. mount, step pad, license plate holder, spare tire mount, skid shield and tow hooks.
