NRT(TM) (No Rust Technology) is a specially developed additive that increases corrosion protection within the powder coat. The integrated channel design allows you to adjust the position of the cast aluminum drop steps for customized placement. The cast design provides a larger stepping surface at each door for superior traction. A universal board combined with custom fit brackets (sold separately) creates the perfect look. This set of side bars is constructed from high-strength carbon steel for a solid step, and they feature a dual-layer E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish for excellent protection against scratching, chipping and peeling. Something that sets the ARIES 4 in. oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4 in. oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. They feature the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system with brackets that are made from powder-coated steel and built for specific vehicles (NOTE: VersaTrac mounting brackets are sold separately; see application information to determine which brackets and side bars fit your vehicle). The high-strength steel brackets mount using pre-existing holes, and the side bars attach to the brackets with heavy-duty hardware and a full-length channel. The VersaTrac mounting system makes installation simple and customizable, allowing the side bars to be swapped out at any time with other side steps or running boards that feature the VersaTrac system. Setting yourself apart is simple with the ARIES AdvantEDGE series. In addition to our AdvantEDGE side bars, we also offer the AdvantEDGE bull bar and AdvantEDGE headache rack, featuring the same all-aluminum construction and eight-sided tube profile. For a fully customized look to match your pickup, AdvantEDGE side bars are available in two finish options, including carbide black powder coat or chrome powder coat.
