Made from 5-1/2 in. wide, eight-sided, extruded aluminum tubing, AdvantEDGE side bars are strong, lightweight and impervious to rust, offering a solid step that is built to face the elements and outlast them. They also come with die-cast aluminum end caps and a stamped aluminum tread. The aluminum treads provide a long-lasting, non-skid stepping surface that will not crack or fade in the sun. ARIES AdvantEDGE side bars are also marked for their easy, custom-fit installation. They feature the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system with brackets that are made from powder-coated steel and built for specific vehicles (NOTE: VersaTrac mounting brackets are sold separately; see application information to determine which brackets and side bars fit your vehicle). The high-strength steel brackets mount using pre-existing holes, and the side bars attach to the brackets with heavy-duty hardware and a full-length channel. ARIES 4 in. oval side bars are made with strong 4 in. elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow for full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from high-strength carbon steel for a solid step, and they feature a dual-layer E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish for excellent protection against scratching, chipping and peeling. Something that sets the ARIES 4 in. oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4 in. oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. Installation of ARIES 4 in. oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary.
