  • 105.09mm - New hydraulic lifters are recommended by VAG to be replaced at the same time as new valves are also replaced. It is further recommended that the lifters are allowed to "Settle" for a minimum of 30 mins to allow excess oil to drain. If this recommendation is not complied with, some valves will contact the piston. This will cause the valve to break at the collet groove. It is also ideal if the engine be allowed to rest over night before starting the engine for the first time. Engine should be turned by hand 1st
