I replaced the two upper control arms on my 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4 and installed these new bolts with them so when I got my truck aligned again the mechanics could adjust them. The stock bolts are not easily adjusted and these may be a must if you replace the control arms. Moog makes great products and they aren't too expensive so just save yourself time from having the alignment techs tell you they can't adjust your camber and caster because of the old bolts and try to charge you for them to put them on. I highly recommend.

I wish I would have read the reviews on needing these after I replaced my 2001 Ranger's upper control arms, and lower ball joints. That's ok, just had to take the top bolts out of the upper control arms again and put these in.Very simple install. Took more time tightening the bolts in the cramped space.Overall though I wonder why these didn't come stock on a Ford Ranger...After you put these on make sure you get your vehicle aligned! Prior to alignment on the before numbers my truck was all in the red.. after this they aligned everything in the green.Good price, easy install. Make sure you get TWO sets because one box contains two bolts which is good for ONE side.Good solid product and Moog is great!I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd if that helps anyone in the future. I was unsure if they would fit in my application and the do perfectly.-Nigel

I put these in and adjusted the camber and caster myself without going to an alignment shop. I used measuring tapes for toe-in/out. Adjusted the camber using a carpenters square and caster was adjusted between driving tests. The fact is, is that my alignment is much better now then it was. Big-O Tires was unable to adjust my alignment correctly. Very disappointed with these shops who just want your money and think you're stupid.
