- Install the std rubber bushing in the normal fashion. To install the AST bushing: 1) remove old bushing; 2) remove inner sleeve on the AST bushing; 3) lubricate inner and outer diameters of the AST bushing with silicone spray; 4) press the AST bushing (without the inner sleeve) into the control arm; 5) press the inner sleeve back into the installed AST bushing.
