Whether your cherished truck is powered by a Chevy small block, big block, or LS engine, Hedman Hedders manufactures as model for you in its Whittier, California manufactruring facility. This set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Small Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.

    These uncoated, MID-LENGTH tube headers fit 1967-1987 2WD, 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton Chevy and GMC trucks, Suburbans, and Blazers with a SB Chevy engine (check the application listings for exact fitment). The smooth 1-5/8 in tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your C10/C20, C15/C25 truck's 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce maximum horsepower and torque. The MID-LENGTH design of these headers keeps the header connection up, tighter to the body, so you can keep your entire exhaust above the frame rails. These headers work with factory chassis, as well as, aftermarket front clips, like Porterbuilt.

    These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish.

    Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
