The Tundra, Toyota’s full-size pickup, combines a spacious and comfortable interior, a rugged yet stylish exterior, and a dependable powertrain. The second-generation Tundra is nearing 15 years of age, which is a typical point at which many cooling system components begin to degrade and fail. One of the more common failure points is the plastic end tanks on the stock radiator. After thousands of heat cycles, this plastic hardens, becomes brittle, and can fail unexpectedly. Upgrade to our performance aluminum radiator to restore the integrity of your cooling system and improve overall efficiency. Our engineers designed an extremely durable, aluminum, direct-fit radiator for the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra. Our strategically designed 2-row core provides a 70% increase in coolant capacity, along with a 12% increase in core volume and 15% increase in external fin surface area. Those improvements result in increased heat transfer and overall improved cooling efficiency. To ensure this unit is a bolt-on fit, we’ve incorporated an internal automatic transmission cooler which makes install a breeze and ensures transmission fluid temperatures are properly regulated. One common failure point with the Tundra cooling system is the plastic radiator mounting brackets securing this component within the core support. Often, these brackets will fail when attempting to replace the heat exchanger. Our team identified this issue, and our radiator includes new brackets, ensuring hassle-free installation.
