- Lokars U-Cut-to-Fit Kickdown Cables are available in either stainless steel braided housing, black stainless steel braided housing or black housing. They are designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable – not to be confused with ordinary brake hose. Kickdown features aluminum fittings with ferrule to eliminate frayed cable ends. Kickdowns are adaptable for all types of manifolds including tunnel ram, blower manifolds and Weber induction systems. Mount our kickdown with our Stainless Steel Carburetor Bracket and Return Springs (sold separately). Complete instructions included in kit. - The B&M StarShifter is our 3-speed shifter with a split personality of performance, function, and that classic muscle car styling. The first personality is as a straight-line detent shifter, meaning you can move between gears without a positive stop, like an OEM shifter. The racing personality comes into play when you want a ratcheting function, you just put the shifter down into low gear, pull the trigger up while pulling the shift handle down and it drops into ratchet mode. In this mode, the ratchet function will shift one gear at a time so you cant over-shift and miss a gear at that critical moment. Another cool feature is the reverse lockout which meets NHRA/IHRA safety rules for those weekend grudge races at the track. The look and feel of the T-handle and accordion-style shift boot really shows off the racing heritage of the StarShifter and looks a lot like its big brother, the MegaShifter. Other features include a black console that you can trim to fit your vehicles floor contour for a perfect fit, a 5-foot shift cable, cable brackets, transmission shift levers, chrome-plated top plate, and everything needed for an easy at home installation. - The SportShifter is a great value with the performance look of the MegaShifter, but without the ratcheting function. This detent shifter is our easiest shifter to operate and functions like most OEM shifters, with no positive stops between gears or a reverse lockout feature. To shift out of Park, you simply lift the handle and pull it back into Reverse, then simply move the shifter rearward to forward gears. To shift back into Reverse, from Neutral you will need to lift the handle and move shifter forward and again lift the handle to move it into the Park position. Features include a textured black mini console that has a chrome top plate with an illuminated gear indicator. Other features include a polished aluminum shift stick with a black T-handle knob and an accordion boot reminiscent of a manual 4-speed, giving your vehicles interior that classic muscle car look. The shifter includes a lighted gear position indicator in the bezel, a micro-switch for back-up lights and a neutral safety switch preventing accidental starts when in gear. To access Reverse or Forward gears you simply lift the handle and pull back and let the handle drop in gear. Theres no need to lift the handle again to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park. From Drive, lift the handle straight up and this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. Its just that easy! Also, the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA and IHRA safety regulations and wont allow you to accidentally over shift into reverse while making a pass at the strip. The light truck MegaShifter is better suited for truck and bench seat applications with its overall height of 14.85-inches tall (2.25-inches taller than #80690 MegaShifter.) The positive ratcheting action wont allow you to over-shift and miss a gear at that critical moment, along with the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA/IHRA safety rules for those weekend grudge races at the track, while the look and feel of the T-handle and accordion style shift boot really shows off its racing heritage. Other features include a black console that you can trim to match the contour of your vehicles floor, 5-foot long shifter cable, cable brackets, transmission shift levers, chrome plated top plate with lighted gear indicator and everything needed for an easy at home installation. An optional T-handle with a 12-volt button is available separately for actuating a trans-brake, nitrous oxide or other accessories for the hard-core performance enthusiast. This shifter comes with all necessary parts for use with three and four-speed automatic transmissions such as 1966 and later Chrysler Torqueflite A727, A904, A500, and A518 transmissions. Ford C4, C6 transmissions. GM models TH200, TH250, TH350, TH400, 2004R, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E through 4L85E without PRNDL switch transmissions. - B&M Holeshot 2400 for 1967-81 Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth Torqueflite A727 automatic transmissions (Non-lock-up) with 24 spline input and a 10-inch bolt circle. The Holeshot 2400 converter is good for vehicles with some performance engine modifications, particularly big cams that tend to reduce low-end power and torque. The higher stall speed of this converter will launch the car in a higher rpm range where more torque is readily available, resulting in quicker acceleration. Holeshot converters feature furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine, new precision alloy impeller hub and new heavy duty needle bearings. Other features include fully balanced and pressure tested by expert technicians. If your vehicle is equipped with a plate type nitrous system or supercharger, please refer to the Nitrous Holeshot line of converters. Notes: Stall speed listings are based on engines producing 230lb ft of torque at 2,500 rpm. More torque at 2,500 rpm will give you more stall speed, less torque at 2,500 rpm will give you less stall speed than the stall speed ratings indicated. Higher stall converters can generate more heat, so we highly recommend adding a transmission cooler. This converter is Not recommended for supercharged, plate-type nitrous oxide or trans-brake applications.
