- The power and torque that modified 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines deliver can crack or even shatter the stock flex plate. BDs FleX-Plate is designed specifically for modified applications, and can reliably handle up to 1,500 lb.-ft. of torque. Twice as thick as the stock unit and made from forged steel, the BD FleX-Plate is precision-balanced and SFI-certified for use in race sanctioning bodies. Plus, a new black oxide coating resists corrosion, and prevents hydrogen embrittlement that can cause cracking. The BD FleX-Plate is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the stock converter and is also compatible with most aftermarket torque converters. Great for stock, towing or racing applications!BD Flexplate now 29.3SFI Approval We are proud to announce that our BD Flexplate has now passed the newly created SFI 29.3 version testing. - Turbochargers operate at high temperatures. The Cool Down Timer is designed to keep the engine running when the ignition is turned off to prevent turbocharger bearing failure that could occur when the engine is shut down, stopping the cool lubricating oil flowing to the turbocharger while it is still hot. If the oil flow is shut off too early, the remaining oil in the bearing housing will overheat causing coking of the bearings which causes both premature bearing wear and reduced oiling of the bearings. Allowing the engine to idle to a minimum operating speed gives the turbocharger time to cool down. The CDT is adjustable for up to 5 minutes of idle time, or optionally works with any K-Type EGT probe for temperature-based shutdown.

The High RPM Mechanical Governor Kit increases the Cummins engine speed to 3,000 or 4,000 rpm, reducing gear shifting and providing a new high in horsepower levels. The Delivery Valve Kit yields optimum pump output without replacing plungers and barrels. These kits replace key components in the P7100 Bosch pump on 1994-1998 Dodge-Cummins applications and as such are not for a home install! Only a qualified technician with P7100 training should perform this work, or send it to us and we can complete the modifications for you.
