  • McLeod Performance Automatic Transmission Rebuild Kits McLeod has developed a premier line of automatic transmission rebuild kits to the performance enthusiast. The kits feature National Oil seals and FarPak gaskets for superior sealing capabilities, PTFE coated rings to make tighter seals, and OEM thickness grooved friction plates for increased holding capacity. All of the filter materials are brass for better flow and filtration. Some kits include Kolene plates, which create a stronger seal than stock to prevent warping.   • B&M Hi-Tek heavy-duty deep transmission pans are constructed from A356-T6 aluminum and are cast with thick internal and external fins, adding additional strength and increased cooling properties. The deep pan design increases fluid capacity by 2 quarts over the stock O.E. pan. All of these features combined help dissipate heat quicker, netting lower transmission & fluid temperatures and prolonging the life of your transmission, transmission fluid, and corresponding components. Other features of this popular pan include a drain port with a magnetic drain plug for clean and easy servicing and a 1/8-inch NPT temperature sensor port that allows you to easily add a temperature gauge for monitoring transmission temperatures while daily driving, towing, or racing. We have also included detailed instructions with all necessary hardware for an easy at-home installation. Note: 10R80 transmissions do not come with a dipstick from the factory to check the fluid level. As a solution, B&M offers an optional locking dipstick (part #22200) to measure transmission fluid level.
