I've had a Neuspeed P-Flo intake on my 2007 VW GTI for ~2 years. One of my biggest complaints with the included (oiled) K&N filter has been the harsh rake sound near the top of the torque curve in lower gears. Cleaning the filter has also been quite a tedious project... spray with cleaner, let soak in, knock off the bits and pieces, rinse, repeat, dry completely, and spray oil. Don't forget to cross your fingers that you didn't over-oil the filter and contaminate the MAF sensor!I came home to find the AEM DryFlow waiting for me. As soon as the engine bay fell to a reasonable temperature, I ripped out the now grey K&N oiled filter, and popped open the AEM box. What I found was not the dark grey dry filter in the picture, but a bright red dry filter, reminiscent of when I first received my Neuspeed P-Flo.
