This is excellent news because it does not foul MAF sensors.This is a higher flow filter than a stock paper filter. I can't say anything about performance, because it would be a subjective guess. I regularly get Oil Analyses performed on my used oil, and have never seen any indication that less debris is being trapped. Even if this doesn't add any performance, it's worth the price for its durability, and re-usability.I vacuum out the filter once in a while for a quick clean.
