      My 99' Mazda Protege LX was giving me a P0171 code for running lean and I found my old intake hose had a major crack in it. I found this online and it said it would fit, and boy does it ever, snug as a bug. It fit my car perfectly and made the code go away.       And the price was right.I seriously plan to keep my old Mazda minivan running until it hits 300,000 miles.Shame on me for neglecting to promptly replace the old, brittle OEM Air Intake Hose, when it really needed to be changed.This high quality vulcanized rubber replacement fits perfectly, is soft and supple, will last for the remaining 65,000 miles on the minivan.

      I used this for a 2001 Mazda Protege, 1.6L. This was a perfect fit and installed within five minutes. If I run into issues with the air hose again, I will buy this again. A great product.

      The oil-change place kindly ripped the original while checking the air filter, and after chasing down the cause of the check-engine light (mass flow sensor, front O2 sensor, much head scratching), finally finding the tear, this one was a perfect fit. Rubber is very flexible, exact match on the 3.2 liter engine, and MUCH less expensive than the auto repair stores! Five minutes, start to finish.

      well - it's much cheaper than anywhere else. + didn't want to pay for installation.So - it took me 1/2 hour to install this hose on my old 99 CamryAnd it works just as it should!
