perfect made in Germany part, just like the original. Installed it and some of the belt noise along witha squeaky pulley tensioner are gone. Old belt still looked in good shape, but upon replacing the alternator I felt minus well spend a little more and get things renewed. Cheaper that way with less mechanic charges.

Much less expensive, but equivalent to VW/Audi part. Note that the AutoPartsWAY indexing has this under "timing belt"; this is not a timing belt, but the Fan/Alternator/Power-Steering belt.Beware: it is all but impossible to replace this belt and it's "brother", the Conti belt number W01331637627CON (Air Conditioning belt), without putting your car into "service position". These two "accessory belts" are interleaved just behind the radiator, and there is insufficient space to use tools on the fasteners and tensioners, as it required for doing this job properly. If you don't know what this means, you probably should have a mechanic do this replacement. If you have a Bentley service manual (recommended), see the instructions there re details. These start with "put the car in service position".If, on the the other hand, you are purchasing with other parts involved in a timing belt service, replacing these belts at that time makes perfect sense and adds...

Contitech makes the belts for Volvo. You know you can be safe using their belts. If your car takes the "Contitech 6PDK-1853 Drive Belt" this is it. It was hard to find that out since the seller list almost no details on the page. I am not going to knock off my rating even though the seller really should include more details. Contitech makes a good product. 5 stars. And if you wanted to know you could get the this same belt for about $50 through ipd or fcp. I decided to save 15 bucks and buy off AutoPartsWAY. Love ipd, but sometimes the prices are a little high.
