Worked well on 2002 GMC envoy.The old reservoir had been leaking and this one was a great fit.Getting that 'around' wire was a bit tricky- but it fit.The unit comes w/ the hose as shown in pic.Held well for over 3 months before I got rid of truck. -
WORKS GREAT..MY OLD ONE HAD A LEAK IN A WEIRD PLACE @/ OR NEAR BOTTOM OF THE TREADS WAS HARD TO SEE REPLACED WITH THIS ONE DID THE TRICK 5-TO 10 MINUTE JOB GOOD FIT

Perfect fit. Just like the original. It is made of clear plastic so it is easy to see fluid levels. The only drawback is the pressure cap provided is rated at 18lbs. The 98 Malibu I have only needs a 15lb cap.

I saved money by purchasing the item through AutoPartsWAY and just having the mechanic install it. I highly recommend it. It is the same part you can by locally, but it is more expensive, so save some money instead and buy it yourself.

I thought this was a good price. Arrived on time . Fit perfectly. No complaints. I put this in an 03 avelanche IDT the ad said it was for this vehicle but i took a gamble. It did say it would fit a 5.3 chev truck.

Looks and mounts just like the original. Comes with a cap, a nice bonus.I installed it in my 1999 Silverado ... fits perfectly even though the fit guide says it will not. Often I wonder who puts these guides together since they are often wrong.Anyway, the part is nice. Like someone else mentioned, I swapped the plastic overflow hose (as the official GM part now has as well) with the original rubber hose that is still in good condition.Save big bucks compared with the dealer. I am a very happy camper ...

So far so good. I should wait until after the summer and give a better review. None-the-less, it appears to match the OEM coolant reservoir that came with my Chevy Tahoe. The only negative is the black plastic flextube overflow that came with it. I pulled that off and used the heavy duty rubber tubing that was on the old one. Other than that, I am happy.

I purchased this item from AutoPartsWAY a few days ago for my 1966 GTO project (for the past 10 years) car. It fit perfectly on the passenger side core support next to the aluminum radiator. I would highly recommend this product for that purpose. It can also be used as a washer bottle. The instructions that come with it are good, although very small printing. To use it as a coolant overlow / closed system, you will need to drill out the bottom 13/64" but it already has a hole started so it will be easy. It does come with a cap (not shown) which already has a pinhole in it to create the vacuum needed for the coolant to re-circulate into the radiator.It took me about an hour to install it, mostly due to location selection, and drilling through that "real steel."2-thumbs up !!

Some times they don't make the correct over flow bottle. This one is a great answer. other universal bottles are poor quality and cost twice as much.

I was looking around for something to use as a coolant recovery tank for my 1962 Cadillac. I found this item and am I ever glad I did. It is small enough to fit almost any application and yet it holds lot's of coolant. It is well made although the inlet spiggot was molded solid. I drilled it out and all was well. It mounts solidly using the three lugs. The cap is well vented but will not allow coolant to escape due to splashing. All in all, a great buy.Dan McNarry
