It arrived quickly in excellent condition. It fits my 2002 BMW Z3 Roadster perfectly and raises the trunk lid as it should.

Gets the job done on my 1998 s70 and 1/2 the price of NAPA! What else do you need? Install is a cinch. Just make sure you have a long sturdy object to pry the old struts off and pop the new ones in.

As advertised. This perfectly replaced the hatch strut on a TT coupe. It was easy to install, not hard.Great job.

Works great. After install, my trunk is as good as new. Very happy that I spent the extra $ for this OEM replacement part.

Arrived on-time, thought I ordered two, but I'll have to order another. My stock ones on my Audi TT '01 just gave out three months ago.

The fit and finish are good, and installation on an S70 Volvo was quick and easy. Can't comment on longevity yet, but they seem to be working fine so far (couple of months).

I purchased these for my 2004 Audi TT Quattro 225hp Turbo. It is an exact replacement for the OEM part. To install it, get someone to hold the trunk lid up, use a small screwdriver to pry up the metal clip on the old strut, then you can pop off the old strut from the ball. Do this to both ends of the strut. (instructions are on the package)Installing is the same - small screw driver to lift up the clip, then press onto the ball. Whole thing took about 15 minutes. My Audi dealer quoted $170.80 for 2 struts and $78.20 for installation. Total $249 plus tax. AutoPartsWAY cost $82.96 which included no tax and free shipping.

Even though it is an out-sourced item (made in Mexico); the new set of trunk lid supports work well. The new pair has made opening of the trunk lid much easier and its closing coming down much slower, instead of crushing down with the old set. I'm happy w/ the set I bought!

Wow... cheaper than anywhere and easy to install. Stabilus does it right. Thee made my trunk on my Bette pop up an inch and a half compared to a centimeter.

These were a perfect fit from the original trunk lid struts on my Volvo 850. It took me about 20 minutes replace both struts. One trick to make the hook end snap in easier is to squirt it with a little WD-40.

I installed this product on my 2001 Audi TT. It was very easy to install. With regards to the clips which hold the socket end (on the strut) to the ball end (post on the car), do not remove the clip. All you need to do is use a screw driver to pull out the clip just a few millimeters, then the socket slides right into the ball, release the screw driver, the clip snaps back into place and the strut is installed. The strut was a little stiff at first but then loosened up. It works perfectly.
