It has been 2 years since I purchased this Tank, so I will talk about durability. First, I have it set up with a kit from Northern Tool that feeds it directly into my truck tank. The fluid exits directly out of the bottom hole and with that I am able to fill it up with only about 40 gallons. With my 26 gallon truck tank, I get 1000 Miles in between fill ups. Make sure you use the vent feature on the cap or the gravity feed won't work without the air behind it. The Box fits plenty of stuff. I have a chain, small tire iron, cables, etc. and it seems to fit fine. The only problem with the box, the locking mechanisms haven't held up very well over the 2 years. The top weather strip peeled off, the locking mechanism has bent which makes it difficult to close now. I wouldn't let this stop you from buying, but you should know that its not "super sturdy" metal.
