They feature an elegant teardrop profile, highly unique dual-constructed step pads, a rigid and rust-resistant build and a no-drill installation. AscentStep running boards are set apart from other, common oval side steps with their stylish, distinctive teardrop shape. The boards are rounded on the ends with seamlessly blended end caps, giving them subtle, superior style to complement your truck. The step pads of these running boards are also unique, featuring a two-part construction. They are comprised of a polyethylene tread base and a metal plate overlay. The poly treads protrude through the overlay, providing an aggressive accent and non-skid traction for a safe stepping surface. The stainless steel plates also help protect the running boards from scuffs, scratches and rust caused by frequent foot traffic. AscentStep running boards offer excellent rigidity with their high-strength steel construction. The steel is covered with a durable carbide black powder coat finish for dependable corrosion, scratch and UV resistance and for a clean, sleek look on your truck or SUV. Every set of ARIES AscentStep running boards is made for vehicle-specific application. This ensures optimal integration with the truck without any drilling or difficult modifications required. This particular set includes the running boards only (mounting brackets are sold separately). Additionally, AscentSteps are equipped with the VersaTrac system, meaning once the brackets are installed (brackets not included), they can accept other running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system. This makes installation and customization easy.
