I was able to easily install them myself with the mounting kit; they look & work great.

These running boards look sharp and they are well built . very happy with the item !
-
Worked great. Had them put on yesterday, worked great. Amazing what the correct part will do.
-
They were very easy to install. I did not have to drill any holes and all of the mounting hardware was included.
-
The mount kit fit perfectly on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are a re strong and sturdy!!
-
did the job fit like they were suppose to came with all 4 brackets
-
Easy to mount. No problems at all. I wish everything wad as easy. Why is there a mon on words. Short n sweet always works for me.Thank you.
-
easy to install fit my needs perfectly. I would recommend this product to anyone.Shipment was quick and easy and on time
-
fairly easy to install, do a good job of supporting the boards. was surprised at the quality. should last long as the truck.

This mount kit came in solid packaging and all parts are most definitely heavy duty. So why not 5 stars? I had to go buy one washer since one of the washers that came with the kit was damaged right out of the box. I still recommend it and it's required to install my running boards. Also, I didn't have to drill a single hole and everything lined up perfectly.

I bought the boards via Westin's Outlet store (the ONLY way to buy them at about 1/3rd the cost). Strangely, they don't offer mounts there so I found them here on AutoPartsWAY.Fit like they were made by GM. Instructions not real clear, but worked perfect. At first the screws that go into the body mounted nuts don't seem to be the same thread, but don't worry, they are.The boards and mounts are outstanding, couldn't be happier!

AutoPartsWAY shipped me the correct item in a timely fashion. I have already installed this Westin mounting kit for my westin running boards and all the brackets fit perfectly. The package included all of the hardware needed for this installation and the hardware for my running boards.

I bought the 27-6105 Sure grip running boards at AutoPartsWAY. Really great deal (by the way). Then had to purchase the mounting kit seperately. 27-1455 was not that bad to install. Requires drilling to install. Even though the site clearly states "no drill installation. Had to purchase a close quarter drill to accomplish installing the self tapping screws under truck. But I wanted one anyway. Another excuse to buy a tool.

This is a nice kit. All the brackets were clean and painted!! All nuts and bolts and a wire harness are included! The instuctions were clear with great pictures to show how to install running boards

It is a mounting kit for the running boards we installed on our 2006 ford Explorer. We reviewed the boards in another review.....I am not sure what more I can say other than they worked, fit well and were easy to install. It isn't the Mona Lisa, nor is it a fancy car stereo...it is piece of metal shaped to fit a particular truck, which it does well. That is about it.

I bought this for my 2008 Mountaineer it works but I think Ford redesigned the Mountaineers chasis for 08 because there is some stuff in the way. Also, check Westin's website for the correct application AutoPartsWAY was trying to suggest that the brackets for the 02-04 Mountaineer fit my truck, but Westin had a different number for my application. On the driver side the parking brake cable rubs on one of the brackets (I had to put a sleeve around the cable to keep it from rubbing), my friend's 06 Mountaineer the parking brake cable is out of the way.On the passenger side there are 3 steel fuel lines running on the top of the chassis in the way. I had to unbolt (3 bolts)them then pry the lines out of they way to get the bolts on. Once again my friends 06 Mountaineer does not have the fuel lines in the way, furthermore the holes for the brackets are reinforced with steel plates which are not on the 08 Mountaineer. This will work, I have had the runningboards...
