For a 1996 Silverado extended cab 1500 4 whee drive, I had the screws break off and elude extraction on old yoke, for U-Joint repair . I replaced it with this yoke. It seems to work fine. No more shift "clunk." I have been driving it 60 miles a day for a couple of months. Be careful about the Torque on the main drive nut. It can be tricky, considering the differential seal. Do your research.

Mine was rusted and corroded. I was concerned about reuse, and was happy to find this. It fit perfectly and while I cannot tell any difference in the performance of the car, I can tell you that it fit, and I had no problem putting new U-joints in --and this was NOT the case with the old one. So it was worth the cost.

This yoke, although Chinese made, is quite adequate as an economical replacement part. My original yoke had developed a groove where the seal rides on it, a new seal was damaged by the groove, thus required a new yoke. The price of this is much better than buying a new GM part. Appearance and finish are not quite as good as OE, but more than 'good enough'.
