      installed in 2000 ZR2 pick-up. these motor mounts are easy to install and aren't as bulky as the stock mounts. Had to modify the heat shield slightly to fit these mounts. Overall good product. Energy suspension makes good products

      Worked like a champ to stop my motor from moving so agressively during take off and was a sinch to install. Just make sure you put the red inserts in first and then put in the gold hollow dowels in after.

      To the above review, these bushings install just fine if you heat them up first and use a vice to press them into the mounts. They'd be useless if they were soft and just fell into the mount.

      Have a 1994 S-15 Jimmy 4X4. Kept replacing stock motor mounts with stock type rubber ones from local auto parts store. The rubber would either tear in half or pull away from metal bond. Fabricated different mounts to use the old caged motor mount design off the 2.8 motor on the older models. That worked for a while keeping the engine out of the hood (no more tearing because they're caged) but now rubber totally broke apart and caused engine to drop to low and rub fan shroud. Bought these and have been very impressed on how they are holding up so far. Haven't noticed any sag or separation issues. The reason they didn't get a five star is because you do notice more vibration and noise from drivetrain. Would buy again.

      These things are the real deal for people that keep popping their mounts. This gives your OEM mounts the ability to take on heavy shifting and last you as long as a racing mount would. It's super easy to install and reinforce your weak OEM mounts to new levels.

      I have 114k on my car, with the original motor mounts, which were a little soft, but still in decent shape.It may seem obvious to say, but the Energy Suspension mounts will cause your car to vibrate more. From 2-3k RPMs, the pitch of the vibration can be annoying. Above 4k, and especially in VTEC, the sound and feel are THRILLING. The car is more responsive in every way, since the engine isn't moving around as much. Wheel hop is gone, and shifting is much smoother. Nobody can say that the vibration feels GOOD, but it's definitely tolerable, especially with the improvement in performance.Installation is fairly easy. There's a good write-up with photos somewhere out there. I used a torque wrench with a combination of extensions, and a 17mm socket. I also used silicone lubricant when positioning the mounts, which made things much easier. For the rear mount, remove all bolts, tilt it forwards, move the hose out of the way, then pull hard.

      98 blazer 4wd, lifted, big tires,corvette shift servo, engine bolt ons and a tune.. went through 6 sets of anchor motor mounts. i could go around the block once and tear them in half. These are holding solid so far!!!!

      I you are NOT a master mechanic with a shop and a truck lift like me, give yourself a full afternoon for this project. Passenger side, you will have to remove the cold air intake. I used an engine hoist to lift the mount up a few inches. The most difficult part on the passenger side is trying to get enough room to break the bolts free. I used the break free sprays, freeze out, and an impact wrench. There is not much room to get to the front two block to mount bolts. Drivers side, you will have to remove the starter,cold air intake clamps,fan and upper radiator hose. Use an engine hoist to lift enough to get a bottle jack between the top of the axle diff and the engine mount. jack the mount up enough to get the old rubber out. The old factory rubber fell out of the mounts. New inserts slipped right in. No problems there.

      Energy Suspension 3.1144G 4.3 Motor Mount for GMFantastic engine motor mounts used on my 1992 Chevy C15 Pick-Up w/4.3 V-6 Engine Used my old steel mount outsides andreplaced the junk inside rubbers with these. You just drill out a few spot welds and put them back together with grade #8 nutsand bolts, all problems solved.       Product fit perfect for the application. I have upgraded to the poly urethane mounts as I have previously replaced with the original mounts which lasted for a few years. I think these should be a little more durable for the extreme use of my Jeep. Headed for the trails!

      I installed this on a 2001 Sentra SE 2.0L. After installation, I could feel a difference in the engine, especially moving off from a stop. The engine was more firm and did not rotate as much, transferring the torque to the wheels instead of being absorbed by the mount.I had to remove one of the OEM rubber spacers so tat theses inserts would fit in. But not much trouble/hassle installation. As easy as removing engine mount bolt, dropping the mount, inserting the insets and pushing it back into place and reinserting the bolt. I would recommend spraying the engine mount and insert with silicone spray to help get it into position for easier installation. Took me about 30 mins including supporting the engine with jacks while the mounts are serviced.

      We're currently racing a Ford Contour in one of those 24 hour crap can racing series, and we noticed our engine was bouncing around alot on shifts. Our factory torque damper wasn't cutting it anymore and was toast. This cheap insert drops right in, and helped greatly. It increases NVH slightly, but well worth the more precise throttle and shift response.

      I'm quite happy with these mount inserts but just a word of caution the instructions suck. When you install the bigger insert, make sure the notch is facing what would be the rear of the vehicle (ie,have the notch pointing away from the smaller insert). Then, when you reinstall motor mount, install it so that the notch is facing upward and not pointing down at the ground. Also, there is a metal bracket on the transmission that captures the bolt that passes through the motor mount. It has two bolts not including the motor mount bolt itself. Remove the bracket to have a hellaciously easier time than I did trying to remove the mount and reinstall it. Overall a great product just sub par instructions.

      This part is way sturdier than the original equipment part on a Jeep Wrangler. The original rubber mounts will wear out in two years if you drive on rough roads like I do. On these engine mounts, the only thing to watch out for is to make sure you have the metal pieces that go over the OEM mounts. You will have to cut the old rubber off of the OEM mounts to reuse on these. Having longer bolts to mount the metal brackets to the frame will also make things easier.

      These are excellent upgrades for tired motor mounts. You need to have the OEM-style motor mount shells to install these correctly. Use a torch to heat up the steel that is molded into the old rubber mount and pull it off with ease. A bench vise eases installation. If you have any specific questions about these mounts or other Jeep upgrades, don't hesitate to ask! These seemed to raise the engine block just a touch, but I did not get any true measurements.Combined with the Daystar polyurethane transmission mount, I noticed a massive difference in the way my Jeep shifts, downshifts, and picks up with a throttle punch. I have an AX-15 5-speed manual transmission, so the vibration increase at idle is hardly noticeable over a full set of stock rubber mounts. The vibrations increase considerably when the engine's speed decreases to below 700 RPM, so you may notice it at take-off and while you have the A/C on at a stop. I imagine that an XJ with an automatic transmission would...

      I wish I had bought these when I first got the car. They significantly improve the shifting and acceleration. Not as bad vibration as a full mount. Once warm they are barely noticed. They will extend the oem mount life if added before mounts are already wearing. Definite buy for all rsx owners. Modded or not. A must for going with a race header with oem mounts

      I was sceptical about the fitment at first but I figured for the price I had nothing to lose. These inserts worked a miracle my broken engine mounts. Once installed the mounts were better than new.

      The product makes the car vibrate like there is no tomorrow. The instructions show that one of the inserts go where the motor mount does, but actually it is supposed to go onto the torque mount above the transmission that connects it to the passenger side frame rail. Otherwise, you will feel more power transmitted to the wheels. At idle it vibrates, but you get used to it quickly.

      Upon installation, I realized I had ripped all of my stock mounts. Installing these not only solved my motor hop issues, but it helped smooth out my shifting. Great product.

      good buy had a hard time fitting the bracket to the mount after though had to pound it out more so that it would fit on top of it with this thing on. really helps the stability of the car quite noticeably. may make more vibrations at idle though/ overall no complaints good buy

      Although cheap, I would consider these inserts a performance part. After installing them in my manual 5-year-old Toyota Matrix, the body picks up far more engine vibration at idle and take-off. It significantly reduced wheel hop, and gave me a better feel for the clutch binding point. As a performance junkie, it was exactly what I was looking for.It was a beast to install. I did it while I had the sub-frame dropped and had clear access to all the mounts (I was also installing a sway bar), but if your installing just the mounts, having to get around the sub-frame would be a problem. After 5 years, the rubber in the rear mount had started to sag, so installing the insert wasn't the quickest fit either.

      So i bought these because my car's engine mounts were broken, but after placing these on it felt very secure and I have had them on for almost a year now.Me and a friend installed them in about 3 hours pretty straight forward.

      These motor mount inserts are an awesome first upgrade. They make the car feel more responsive and reduce wheel hop during hard launches. They're pretty easy to install (about an hour, give or take. It's possible to do this by yourself, but much easier with the help of a friend). The only drawback is that they will cause increased engine vibrations at idle, especially when the air conditioning is on (still well worth the trade-off in my opinion). Bottom line, if you have an SE-R and enjoy spirited driving (which you should if you have an SE-R) then you should buy these inserts. After all, they only cost as much as a tank of gas.

      I have ordered bushings from Energy before for the lower control arms on my 2001 Honda civic and they were perfect. These however need a little more input from you the installer that I expected. It was not a large issue, but there was a bit of "trimming" required to get the rear inserts to go in correctly. I trimmed some off of the insert and the original rubber mount as well. The front one went in with out a hitch though.Just a quick note for those that weren't sure, these fit into the original mount, around the oem rubber mount. I thought when I bought these that you had to remove the oem rubber, but that's not the case. There is quite a bit of vibration at idle after you install these. This is due to the added rigidity of these inserts, once you get rolling though it is almost un-noticable.I'm giving the five stars because as a product they do what they say they do. Can't beat that.

      II bought this for my Focus SVT as well. Let me just say that you DEFINITELY need a press or some assured or constructive way to get the old inserts out of the stock mount. The bushings are made up of a metal passthrough hole, surrounded by rubber, and incased by a plastic sleeve. You definitely need a hammer and a chisel as well. My bushings were pretty far gone to the point where you could see right through it.The shifts were a lot better after that. The clutch engagement had a more direct response as well. Vibrations weren't that bad compared to the overall drivability of the car now. Plus you get the added performance of the stiffer polyurethane. At ~$21 it was the cheapest inserts I could find for this car w/out sprinting for the $110 full on performance mount. Other ones were about $35. However, if you just want a stock replacement you could find the entire oem mound one for half the price online and don't have to mess around with getting the bushing out.

      these are awesome torque mount bushings. while changing out the clutch to a stage2 in an lx, i replaced the stock rubber torque mount bushings with these polyurethane ones. the motor mounts were replaced with new stock rubber ones to keep the cabin vibrations down. shifting is noticeably quicker and solid. highly recommended if you're upgrading your clutch to a better-than-stock setup. AutoPartsWAY had the best price on these too.

      this will fit both 5th gen and 4th gen prelude. The installation was pretty easy. Cut a little material from the rear inserts to make room for the bolt heads.The car vibrates a lot when idling with A/C on. but with A/C off its not that bad. The perceivable performance difference and feedback more than makes up for the vibration issues. well worth the upgrade.

      Installed these on my 2002 SVT Focus. Was looking to reduce the amount of movement from the engine when shifting, and they did exactly that. Only downside is added vibration at idle, particularly with the A/C on, but after a few months, it seems like the vibrations have subsided a bit. Great if you want more precise shifts, not so great if you have a glass bottom.

      this is the second time i have purchased these mount inserts. the first time was 5 years ago. they didn't fit then, and they still have not changed the design in the last 5 years to make them fit proerly. the front insert fits perfect, just like it did last time. the rear one though, lets say there is some "trimming" envolved. you might say "hey, maybe you recieved the automatic inserts by mistake." sadly no, these are for a manual transaxle, they are just made wrong. the first set i got, i trimmed the inserts. this is very difficult, as urthane does not like to be cut. this time i trimmed the "bumps" on the mount itself. this was much easer, but still took a few hours to get the insert to fit well.wish Energy Suspention would get their crap together...

      I recently purchased a used Zx2, and wanted to make some improvements, one was improving the power transfer to the road, ergo the motor mount inserts. These do the job, there is noticable vibration transferred to me at idle now, but I don't have a proper baseline to know if these inserts contributed to that or not as the original mounts were rotten and were replaced at the same time. A note that may help insallation, is the item is called motor mounts, but on the ZX2, they are transmission mounts. Also, my mistake was thinking I had to take the original mounts and press the old rubber out and install these inserts. These simply are pushed in by hand to fit around the voids in the original rubber mounts.

      Much like many other Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, these made quite a difference in stability. Much less wheel hop, smoother shifting, less torque steer. Only issue I had was the rear insert required a little modification to fit the mount, just ground out a little of the polyurethane and it fit fine. Idle is obviously somewhat rough with inserts, as would be expected, but gives the car a nice feel.
