      My son has a lead foot, go figure. I walked him through replacing a shot lifter and he installed this one as a replacement. The original lifter was a 1/16 worn off and this one is still working great even with a 17 year old running the heck out of his small block 5.7 Chevy.

      I didn't get my lifters from AutoPartsWAY.com, but prices vary over time, so YMMV. I thought I was going to need a valve job (Egad!) but it turned out that all I needed to do was replace my lifters. It's a moderately complicated job, but most people could manage it if they work carefully and take their time. Sealed Power is a division of Federal Mogul and they make a lot of OEM parts. These worked fine in my 1989 Ford F-150 4.9 L. without even changing pushrods. Good part. You'll also need:
