Just exactly what I needed for my Mercedes.
-
Have never got my oil "filtered" the way other people do. Not even sure if I need this filter. But it works with a 2011 Mustang GT
-
Perfect fit for LS2 in 2007 TBSS, more filter area for oil, due to being larger than the stock oil filter.
-
Great product and price compared to other i found locally and on line. K&N has always been the premier filter of chioce.
-
It's the best filter you can buy so why would I not rate it 5 Stars! I love being able to buy it thru my AutoPartsWAY Prime.

Just discovered this filter for my '08 Tundra. Have been using the Fram ones. This is one can be found for as low as $4 ea, plus shipping. Comes with the plastic adapter for draining the oil from the filter housing, which has male threads to screw into the bottom of the housing. This is a vast improvement over the "push-in" ones that were prone to popping out it you bumped the drain hose. Always knew that K&N made quality air filters, this one should be no different.
-
Excellent deal for this oil filter cartridge. I plan on using it for at least two cycles before changing it out. Although, for the price found on AutoPartsWAY I paid about the same for regular cartridges at Walmart.
-
This filter is top of the line. It costs more than your average filter, but it filters a lot better, is easy to remove or install, and made of high quality materials. I noticed my oil is cleaner during oil changes. Which gives me more confidence in K&N products than anything else.

the filter took a little while to come in but it was the fight fit. it was a good price also.

The K&N Performance Gold oil filter is the best for racing because:1.- The 1" nut welded to the end makes removal quick and easy.2.- Drilled safety wire holes for racing.3.- Metal leaf spring provides a positive, leak-proof seal between element and lid.4.- Thicker walls and end plate gives over 550 psi bursting strength.5.- Resin-impregnated filter media provides maximum filtering surface for contaminant removal.6.- Steel inner core provides extra structural support to prevent filter collapse.7.- Bearing-Saver Anti-Drainback Valve eliminates "dry" starts.8.- Rolled threads provide protection against stripping.9.- Leak-proof double rolled seam.10.- Internally lubricated gasket allows easy installation and removal.11.- Unaffected by racing fuels, MTBE, and E-85.12.- Low pressure drop - flows 12-16 gallons per minute.NO OTHER automotive oil filter meets these specs -- BUT -- like all other things...

K&N is known throughout the automotive industry for making what is considered by many to be the best oil filter on the market. If you ask anyone of knowledge in the automotive industry, "What is the cheapest and most effective thing I can do to prolong the life of my engine?" the majority of the time, you will be told to change your oil and filter at the recommended interval, and more frequently with more severe activity (off road, etc.).Go to K&N's website to find the specific filter for you vehicle.

Switch to this K&N on my Corvette 350 small block. Great performance and quality, no more hassle to remove with the nut.Simply the best out there.

I was running a ph30 Fram Filter for the longest time on a SBC that we installed back in 2006. The last ph30 filter I put on it I had a real hard time taking it off and ended up having to crush the filter to get it off the motor.Changed over to Synthetic 10w-30 and the Kn-2002 Filter. I actually gained about 5 more PSI over the ph30 and the addition of the K&N 1 inch nut, it's been a lot easier to change the filter. The construction of the K&N filter is a lot better then the Fram, more solid feel, better drain-back valve and filter median makes this the perfect filter for long in-between oil changes.

Been using K&N filters in our tow vehicle for years. Now we use them in all our vehicles. Thick outer shell doesn't crush when squeezed by an oil wrench. No burrs around the threads like cheaper products.

I use Synthetic Oil (Mobil 1) because I feel it flows better in the weather extremes and protects better all the time.I have used Delco Blue (PF), Delco Gold (UPF), Mobil 1 and K&N oil filters...I want it all ...quality product, better filtering but not at the expense of oil starvation...I need proper oil flow. I feel that the Mobil 1 and K&N Filters are similar (in weight) to each other while being heavier than the stock and upgraded AC Delco filters but the K&N has an advantage of the attached nut for easier removal and the price on AutoPartsWAY made it the better choice for me.

This is by far one of the best oil filters on the market. The studies I've read about synthetic media filter shows that they filter exceptionally well. You can actually feel the quality of this filter when you handle it. It is sturdy and hefty. The weight of the filter gives about the amount of filter material available. And one bonus that I love is the nut, which makes removes a snap.
