Finally installed these on a motor project that I had intended to degree my cams. The quality of these seem to be good no obvious flaws in materials. As for how they work it made dialling in my cams easy and precise. This allowed me to advance my cams by 1.5 degrees to allow for the chains to stretch after break in which will bring them back to the cam manufactures spec. When you do adj the cams you will want to loosen the two set screw and the cam bolt I did not torque them down at this timejust snug them up. I was than able use the provided tool and advance the cam as needed or retard it.Than tighten the set screws back up and tighten the cam bolt up again not fully at this time recheck your degree wheel and gofrom there. This set up allows you to be very precise as I had mentioned, you can buy the crank sprocket with multi positions for advance or retarding of you cam but in 2 degree increments the Cloyes set up allows you to be more acurate...
