Today, Flowmaster, Inc. is housed in three ultra-modern facilities together totaling over 400,000 sq. ft., one in Santa Rosa, one in West Sacramento, California and the other in Hayden, Idaho. Flowmaster employs over 250+ workers dedicated to building the highest quality U.S. made exhaust products available.
Flowmaster operates the only exhaust Research and Design facility of its kind in the world, centered around our SuperFlow engine dynamometers complete with E.C.A. (engine cycle analysis) equipment and also SuperFlow chassis dynos. Through use of these dynos, Flowmaster's engineering staff can track the complete engine cycle in millionths of a second and can obtain exact technical data of each degree of cam rotation, from induction to the tip of the exhaust system, while also showing the power numbers that really matter, the power numbers "to the ground." Flowmaster also utilizes Spectrum Analyzers to fine "tune" the sound of each of the eleven different series of mufflers that Flowmaster currently offers, both for peak performance and just the right sound levels and tones.
Flowmaster's product line includes exhaust products for Performance Street, Muscle Cars, Trucks, Street Rods, RV's, Motorhomes, and all types of race applications. With over 400 different muffler models, 370+ exhaust systems and numerous exhaust accessories available, Flowmaster offers you the choice of sound to fit your preference from "wild to mild" and your specific vehicle needs. With Ray still active and "hands on" with the R and D department in the development of new exhaust products and new technologies currently being tested, the future looks to be very exciting indeed.

So far so good. I drive an open top Samurai with a TBI 4.3L V6 and this Flowmaster does a great job of cleaning up the exhaust. I don't come home smelling like exhaust anymore.
-
This product is working well. Engine light was turn off (with OBD) and did NOT turn on again.
-
easy to install passed emotions in colorado
-
Perfect replacement for 1995 Jeep wrangler 4.0
-
Quietend my car down a good bit but not to much....easily welded in and sounds good.
-
Fit my 97 Ford Ranger 2.3 (extended cab) perfectly. The cat is smaller than the original (probably better technology too) and slid into position easily. Truck runs so much better now with this cat and new O2 sensors. One tip, liberally spray the bolts at the header and rear flange with PB Blaster overnight if you want to keep the bolt removal drama to a minimum.
-
Works as a catalytic converter should so far. Installed in an 03 grand am GT.
-
-
Works just as advertised, passed inspection here in Central Pa on a 1998 Chevy Lumina 3100 v6. Only time will tell if it holds up, but so far it has been well worth the price.

So after scouring the internet for reviews on this part, I came up completely empty. So I'm going to try to give as much detail as I can here to try to help my fellow car guys.First of all, the C5 Corvette came from the factory with 1 of 3 possible exhaust configurations. They are ...1. Coupe/FRC/vert 97-99 2 cat2. Coupe/FRC/vert 2000-2004 4 cat3. Z06 2 catVery important ... this is system is meant for configuration #2. If you are 1 or 3 it WILL NOT WORK. Also depending on the country and/or state, a 2000 might have system #1 or #2. The only way to know is to crawl under your car and look. If you see 2 bulges in the mid pipe right after the manifold junction those are your pre-cats, and you have system #2. If you don't see those, do not order this. It won't fit.Now as to the parts themselves, the materials used were very good quality. The welds are clean, the pipes are all mandrel bent, etc. However the alignment...

It's a very good replacement, better than the original
-
Fits like a glove. Highly recommended
-
Its fits as shown. Perfect solution for my problem.
-
100% factory fit and installation was simple and straight forward.
-
had this installed in my 2005 Mitsubishi galant V6 3.8 and its really nice. Now I hit 80 on the highway like a use to hit 60 MPH.

-
if it has the bong for the o2 sensor this would get 10 stars but it is great, my car passed inspection like nothing
-
It works on 2.0 Jetta. No engine light so far.
-
besides the fact i had to buy a flex pipe to get it to fit right, it has an amazing sound and quality!
-
Great Cat, installed on my 1995 Wrangler! Works and sounds great! Also bought a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler and it sounds rich and mean!
-
Very good, very smooth and low noise
-
Fixed my check engine light. Oem fit as stated.

My only angst with this order was the flange. First, it does not go up the pipe nearly as far as it could. It is also unnecessarily thick. Fortunately, I didn't run into this discrepancy under the vehicle. I ordered a new Exhaust Manifold as well and it was clear that the studs were WAY too short to get to the flange, let alone through it with room to put on a nut. This was a PERFECT fit on my 98 2.5 wrangler aside from the need for longer studs.
-
Nice and compact, fit good on my system and got rid of the too rich exhuast smell my Jeep had.
-
pretty easy install. Bolts right onto my 1997 ford ranger. Fixed part of the problem that I was having. Would buy again if needed.
-
The flow master worlds as advertised and was purchased at a fair cost. I brought back to my local recycling center and got all my money back!
-
I installed this on my 97 Ford Ranger. No problems with the fit. This comes with a bolt kit for the back connection, so don't order an extra. No hardware for the forward end, but wasn't expecting any either. There is also a seal for the back connection. The catalytic converter is physically smaller than the stock one I had to replace, so it was very easy to get it in. The cat doesn't rest on the aft transmission frame crossmember now, so it was slightly more difficult to keep everything aligned while working with the aft bolts. Overall a good product, and a good price.
-
Very well built and was very easy to install and matched with the other exhaust system parts ordered for my car. Required just a single weld to install.
-
Installed on a 97 TJ with a 2.5. Perfect fit, bolted on with no problems.I would recommend this as a direct replacement.
-
Fit my '05 F150 supercrew perfectly. It took a little clever maneuvering to get the old one out and the new one in, but this thing fits perfectly and the sensor screws in easily. Looking inside it has a nice honeycomb structure. Took care of my p0430 code.
-
I would have given it five stars but I had to grind a little on the flange holes to get it to bolt up. No big issue. Other than that, it was delivered on time and is well made. Ol' Red is happy now 356000 miles young!
-
Like the fact that it was identical to the original converter, small and compact easy to position it into it's place because of it's size not mention the affordable price.
-
Engine runs cooler, mileage increased and I seem to get more more. Just like humans, when we breathe better we run better.
-
I bought this to put on my 86 Toyota pickup, Works flawlessly and I have had no issues with it in the 3 months that I have had it on my truck. My only concern is that it may not pass emissions on my particular set up were as I went from a stock 11/4 inch pipe to a 2 1/4 inch all the way back from the down pipes but I guess I will see when it comes time for registration again, but if it doesn't pass than it is no fault of the equipment just the installation.
-
I put these on my Jeep a few months ago to pass emissions. Works great doesn't really ruin the sound of the exhaust too much nor does it hinder performance.
-
Easy replacement for my 2000 2.2L Chevy S10. It's a universal so it's compatible with almost any car if you can fit the pipes to it. Also remember these are bi-directional, so it doesn't matter which end goes where. Helped me pass emissions, still working months later and I did not have to shell out at least $120 bucks if not more at the local parts store.
-
This converter took very little time to install. I couldn't have been more pleased with the ease of the bolt on application.
-
I did the full exhaust on my F350 with a 5.4L. Starting with replacing the Exhaust manifolds and broken manifold studs. I wanted the truck to breathe better so I went with this cat, FM 40 series muffler and also removed the restrictions in the Y pipe. This cat is very light weight and compact. I have no flow restrictions and have NOT had a check engine light come on, which can be an issue when going with aftermarket cats. Reduced the weight by about 25 lbs., approximately, in just the cat. Sounds good too. Although, after this was done, I would have gone with a slightly quieter muffler than the 40 series. This did require some custom pipe work on my truck since it is much smaller than OEM. So far I have put about 500 miles on it since the exhaust work and have noticeably smoother acceleration and it does feel like a bit more power.
-
Fits perfectly, works good, and great price paired it with a flowmaster super 44 sounds great. Worried about fitment but fit great on my 96 Chevrolet s10 2.2
-
I was very hesitant about ordering something like this from an online business but this and all of the other parts I have ever ordered from AutoPartsWAY have been a direct factory fit on my 1998 Chevy S10. Other products include an entire clutch kit, flywheel, 02 sensor and slave cylinder. All fit like a dream.

My car wouldn't speed up, tried a few different things than noticed this converter was heating up switched it out took some welding but works well
