Replacing the muffler on a 1963 Rambler and it was tough to find a muffler that was small enough to fit the available space. A universal muffler had been previously installed and was interfering with the parking brake cables. This solved the problem.

Had a local muffler shop weld this on to replace an old Flowmaster that gave up the ghost. This muffler fit great and is quiet on my 2001 F250 2-valve V10. I'd recommend it if your looking for a good sounding muffler on the quiet side with no drone.

Perfect fit for my 2010 Silverado 1500 , this muffler replaced the factory one. I wanted to hear the V8 in my truck, and I didn't want to go with a chambered muffler that would be loud at all times, WOT or not, inside/outside the cabin, at idle, on startups, etc, etc.I wanted something that will sound aggressive, but be civilized enough when you're just cruising down the street/highway etc. This is a bullet type muffler that will deliver the experience I wanted. This Magnaflow muffler not only uncovered the V8 tone I wanted, it's civilized enough to drive the truck around without being obnoxious with normal throttle input, and loud/aggressive enough when needed. I didn't remove the factory resonator, just the factory muffler, then replace with the 14619, no drone that I can hear, and I can keep a conversation with passengers inside without having to raise my voice over the exhaust noise inside the cabin.

Great muffler for my v8 wk jeep ,sounds good.stock exhaust is abt 2.75" you just need 2 reducers to weld on to fit but it is a universal muffler

I installed this on a 2001 f-150 5.4L and love the tone! Deep and low while cruising, but loud while wide open. Made very well too, with flawless welds and quality materials.

I love this muffler. Gives the car a deeper sound, but isn't extremely loud like Flowmasters. My car does have drone inside now compared to factory, but with a 4 hour road trip one way, it wasn't too bad

2011 f150 super crew 145" WB. had all 3" pipe with borla 40944 and it was too loud. so i got this and added it to the system to act as resonator and now its perfect!

Can?t be more pleased. Expectations were right on, the 22" magnaflow performs well and the sound is just right. Nothing raspy and pocket rice rocket sounding. Low growl and nice flow. In cabin drone is next to nothing at higher rpm speeds. Great quality, very satisfied

I installed this on a Pontiac Fiero with a 3800 SC engine. There's not a lot of room for a lengthy exhaust in this car, it's probably four feet from manifold to the tip but it still sounds great. To be fair it is loud around 2200 rpm, but that's the price you pay for power.

A little unconventional, but we have an older Mack box truck at work and the muffler came apart... being an 80's vintage, parts are becoming more scarce, except the stock muffler since they want almost $1000 for it. This with a couple of stainless steel bends did the trick for under a couple of hundred dollars. In this case, the sound level was the same as their suitcase size stock muffler.

I put this muffler on my '86 Porsche 944 Turbo 4cyl to replace the stock muffler. I like the sound and the looks are a definite plus!Seems very well made with good thick metal that was easy to weld on and didn't have to worry about burning through.I like the aggressive sound but it doesn't cause the car to get too raspy which is nice.I am in the process now of changing over to a high flow cat so I should get a decent power gain between the combo of this muffler and the new cat.Thank you for the quality product!

terrific sound, enjoy the nice rumble without sounding racy. enjoy the easy installation and lightning fast shipping. the one click shopping made it extremely simple and uncomplicated. overall, five stars as I can't find any fault or problems with the product or the purchase experience. save your money from the borla or flowmaster and get this inexpensive nice sounding exhaust. FYI,, I installed it on a BMW 540i with the V8 manual 4.4L

For as small as this muffler is, it really quieted down my Nissan Sentra with 1.6 liter engine. Had been running no muffler at all, of course the droning and louder noise finally got to me. Exhaust noise now is similar to factory muffler, yet the magnaflow is a straight thru design...look in at one end and see out the other. Fuel economy should be better now with less exhaust restriction than factory muffler. This magnaflow muffler has a case length of 14 inches, and 20 inch overall. Case width is 3.5 inch by 7 inch.Cherry bomb muffler is cheaper, but they never muffler for very long..might as well run a straight pipe and not bother with C.Bomb.I have a pair of the larger version of the magnaflow on my dodge challenger..have been working very well also.

if your looking for a fair priced replacement muffler for Chevy 6.0l that isn't gonna cost 500 dollars then this is it. some moron had hacked y stock stock muffler and tried to get glass packs to work it sounded like crap. the truck was in good shape and I bought it, long story short the stock muffler was tossed and this is what i bought as a solution and its workin really good and it does have this nice low rumble that makes it sound just a tad bit perkier than the other 6.0's in my area.

My car was making a ton of rattling noise when I would press on the gas I looked under the car and saw rust holes were started in the muffler. I ordered this muffler because I have seen YouTube videos of other Subaru owners using magnaflow mufflers and they ended up with a nice deep Subaru boxer rumble. This muffler is also made from stainless steel I live in the northeast where PENNDOT loves using the salt. Only downer is I need to buy a new exhaust tip old muffler was 2in I choose to go with 2.25in to keep exhaust pipe the same size during the whole run. Now my forester has the boxer rumble too.

I purchased this item for my 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L and it goes perfect! Loud rumble, deep rumble. Not noisy loud. When easy on the pedal it sounds nice smooth and mellow. When WOT it just turns into a beast like a lion roar. Then again, I have a CAI installed as well as a chip. Either way, you cannot go wrong. It was a big risk for me going from the 28" Magnaflow muffler to a 6" but it was a risk well paid off.

Awesome muffler very good quality and very durable made, got it on my 89 Dodge Dakota truck V6 3.9L engine, Took it to work two days later after I put it on and all my co-workers was amazed by the sounds. it's not too loud and it's not too quite just right, just the way I wanted it. When I REV the engine and listen from the back tip it sounds like a V8 truck. awesome so satisfied, plus for the price you can not go wrong, I bought this used from AutoPartsWAY warehouse and it only cost me under $30 dollars with free shipping what more can you ask for. Highly recommend it, if you just looking for a nice mellow sound and not too loud this is it.

I just returned from my custom shop and used to replace the stock muff (deleted the stock reso's too). She sounds AMAZING! An excellent low end rumble with great output and no interior noise (resonance). This is an excellent mixture of magnaflow quality and the deep rumble of a chambered muffler (flowmaster). Awesome work Magnaflow!

I got these for my lexus gs 430 v8, they didnt look like they would fit at first but once you take your factory muffler off you will see theres plenty off room. They shop made a couple of custom ajustments but other than that they worked very well. These 14829's sound really good with a V8, not very loud but gives your car the respect. :).

Fits well on my Cobalt ss and sounds amazing!!! Well structured, packaging was great. Keep in mind though it is a racing muffler and is straight through design so it will be loud. If your wanting a toned muffler this is not the one you want!

Excellent finish will great welds. Installed a pair of these on my Honda Accord Euro R to help ease some of the noise I had with my initial single exit exhaust setup. No real noticeable loss in power but the car's definitely quieter, especially on those long commutes and of course they can still bring the noise when I step on the gas but it's a nice deep tone. Would recommend them to anyone. If you're looking for free flow get the race series but note they'll be a bit louder...

2012 ram 2500. Didn't want to spend allot of money but wanted sound and this was perfect. This was too loud at first without resonator, took it to local shop and for 150 they welded it all back up properly with resonator and it sounds great, nice deep tone and no easy too loud.

This product arrived in short time and was packaged well. The finish on the tips is a beautiful stainless steel shine. The muffler has a surprisingly fine finish as well. I used this for a custom application on a Jeep Patriot. It worked out to be perfect. looks and sounds great!!! The muffler is quiet at idle, a deep throaty sound that is not typical to a four cylinder resounds as the engine is revved. I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

Fantastic service. Shipped extremely fast. For those wondering what this sounds like, I installed it on my 1.6L Miata, It sounds like the classic tuner sound. Not super annoying like those civics you hear all the time. Sounds good. Sort of like a 4AG AE86, if you happen to know what that sounds like. If you cruise like a normal person shifting at 2-3k you can't even notice you have it. But as soon as you mash the pedal at 4k you unleash the true power of this thing

this is straight through, non baffled muffler. stainless steel is magnetic for some reason, but it welded well to my straight SS pipe. If one is too loud, you can weld two of these in serial to muffle the noise. baffled mufflers take lot of great engine noise out; these don't. If you have room to use 2 in serial, you'll get the quietness you want and the most awesome engine noise you're after. needless to say, these sound very nice. I have 2 of these in serial in my LS6 and my rotary. They always turn heads without the harley loudness or the ricey tone.

The AutoPartsWAY product information is a little bit lacking. This is what would commonly be referred to as an 18" muffler as it has an 18" long case. The case is an 18x5x8 oval.I had this muffler installed in place of stock on my GMC Yukon with 5.3L V8. I wanted something that would provide a nice, deep, healthy exhaust note that actually let me know there was a V8 lurking. However, I did not really want it to be loud as this is to be a family vehicle and we drive nearly 1,000 miles, each way, 2-3 times a year.I am happy to report that there is no mistaking the presence of a V8 but there is absolutely no drone whatsoever, the neighbors will never be bothered by it early in the morning or late at night, and even my wife didn't have anything against it after I had it installed before she even knew I had it.I might even consider recommending a 14" version if you don't mind a little more noise. Most pickups I hear with a modified exhaust (which is very...

Ok well I fitted this to a Prelude and it's probably the loudest exhaust I've had on any car, at idle it's quiet, deep sounding and rumbly (NICE!) but after that I got to turn the stereo up a bit! Maybe I'll save some gas mileage and try not to be such a heavy foot to keep the noise down. It's not a bad noise, quite the opposite in fact but driving to the local shops people are staring if I give it some, lol. At least when the V-Tec cuts in I can't hear the exhaust any more, HAHA!

For the price this muffler is pretty hard to beat. Being stainless it should outlast the Jeep I put it on. Though an oval case this mufflers internals consist of a straight trough perforated tube. No baffles of any sort. This arraignment makes for a very good flowing muffler but one would think it would be very loud. It turned out this is not the case. This muffler offers a very nice low tone that is somewhat louder than stock without being obnoxious. While driving you cannot hear it much if at all and under acceleration you only hear a nice muted low tone.

I put this on my truck with 500 miles on it. I was a little reluctant about removing the factory muffler with it being brand new. Well, not anymore. This thing sounds great. I was torn between a 18 and 14 inch model. I'm very glad I didn't go with the 18. This is not to loud and has a nice low growl, with very little highways drone. I have 5000 miles now and it still sounds great. Get one.

Pros: Great sound, not ricey and not overly loud but still aggressive. Good torque gains as it lets the exhaust system keep a decent amount of back pressure in the pipe. Racing with this muffler at autoX, so far I can't complain. Performs well in both daily driver and race environments.Cons: Isn't free.

I was hesitant to buy mufflers for my car because its' hard to find ones that aren't too expensive and tuned for it. These magnaflows worked out really well. They have a low rumble at around 2-3k rpm. The noise dies down almost completely after the 3k mark. As they have broken in they have become louder which is true of most mufflers. It sounds almost a little too loud for my taste at some times, but if you are getting them for sound then you're making a good choice. I really wanted them for the look more than the sound because the stock exhaust looks so wimpy and these don't add any performance benefit. For the price you can't go wrong with these cans. I'd buy them again and they fit perfect on the Altima. The cutout for the pipe is almost a perfect match for these.

as advertised the performance and cfm rating (533) is very good, however it sounds like a typical glasspack and was hopeing for a more mellow, throaty sound as in a street muscle car sound.

Like many looking to upgrade their cars exhuast, it was a long decision making process. What kind of sound did I want, would it fit, how was it built, would it get the droning sound on the highway ( which I hate ),etc.I decided on these after hearing them on youtube. They have a very quiet rumble below 3K rpm...so not annoying in city traffic or on the highway. But let the rpm's climb over 3-4K rpm and it sounds like a nascar, very loud. So best of both worlds for me.

I purchased these MagnaFlow's a few months ago. I am surprised at the power gain. These went on a 06 BMW M5 with a custom X-pipe. If you're looking to get a little more sound out of your ride, but don't want to shell out $2k for a cat-back system. I recommend having your favorite muffler shop install these bad boys. This is an answer to BMW's whisper exhaust systems.
