Great muffler. The sound is exceptional, no drone, even at low Rpms. Not too annoying, you can have a conversation in the cabin. I have 2 kids, so this muffler is perfect. When you get on the throttle, you can really hear the Hemi roar!

Installed on my 06 Chevy TrailBlazer. Took a little work and modification but I got it on there. Sounds real good. After I finally got the second one. The first muffler I ordered was damaged. Sent it back and ordered another one. Only shipped in its own box just buying off the parts store shelf.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it didn't install itself...and when I step on the gas can't make me 21 years old again.Other than that it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It has a nice low rumble, and when you step on it it sounds great..deep tone. But when you're just cruising down the road you really don't have to turn the radio up much more or talk louder. Low-end torque is noticeably better, and I'm getting a little better gas mileage. It has heavy duty construction..like I say it didn't install itself and there were times when I was tapping ( Tapping is a subjective term and may not hold up under cross-examination.) on the end of the body with a hammer to get it to slide onto the pipe and it did not phase the muffler. The black paint does scratch pretty easily....but I decided to install it underneath the truck so I really don't see it.

Flowmaster has great sounding mufflers. If you're not sure what to get, look around for videos of your vehicle, but I can assure you this muffler sounds great. I got the 942545 from an AutoPartsWAYe Warehouse deal which I believe was discounted due to being returned. Either way, the sound out of this is loud enough to know at idle and at wide-open that it's a flowmaster, yet quiet enough to still have conversations in the car. If you're looking to give this as a gift, be sure you get the measurements correct to what your car has. My car came stock with 2 1/4" exhaust, but someone has repaired or replaced it at one point before I bought it and it had a 2" exhaust. It's best to get the exact same size, if not, 1/4" larger muffler than exhaust and buy clamps to secure it. It's also clearly marked "inlet" and "outlet" so you know which way it goes on.

I was running straight pipes on my chevy 350 so I decided to put two of these on. Let me tell you these definitely will quite things down. Much quieter then a normal 40 series flow master. Don't get me wrong I love the sound just was hoping for a little louder sound.

Arrived on time, and was very well packaged! Installed it on my 2005 Durango and it Sounds amazing!! Was debating on the Super 44 and am glad I stuck with the Super 40. With the replacement of the stock muffler and the resonator it's a very nice deep throaty sound now.

awesome Flowmaster sound I have had 40 series on all my vehicles, this was my first time with the delta flow. nearly same volume outside with a noticeable decrease in noise inside the vehicle, almost too quiet after the 3" pipes were run out the back. Made my SRT8 Challenger sound simply wicked with replacing the factory muffler and eliminating the resonators, interior noise is less than wind noise from opening a window.

This was exactly what I wanted. My Buick Lesabre was a little bit TOO quiet, then again I'm used to driving diesels... After installing this muffler, the Lesabre has a nice quiet burble at idle and sounds a bit nicer while driving. I did have to reset the ECM since the idle went a bit whacky after I installed it, but I attribute that to the loss of backpressure vs the other muffler (Walker SoundFX) I had on it.Installation consisted of cutting off the old muffler with a sawzall and the use of 2 butt clamps found here: http://www.AutoPartsWAY.com/gp/product/B0043DQOYG/Whilst I did have to relocate the tailpipe (it now exits behind the rear pass wheel vs it's dedicated cutout on the bumper) I do plan on fixing that soon. This muffler is about 6 inches shorter than the stock muffler so keep that in mind. You will need to re-arrange some pipes and/or use flex hose unless you are a welder that happens to have access to a pipe bender...I do intend to have a...

Is torn on this review. The product is great, and sounds awesome. Having said that, my only complaint would be to AutoPartsWAY. This dedicatedly did NOT fit my del Sol... Not out of the box, anyway. I had to buy an adapter for the inlet pipe, and improvise a hangar. Does not match the stock setup at all.

I bought one of these HP-2 mufflers for my built up 2000 VW TDI (Turbo Diesel) MK IV. I installed it right at the bottom of the down pipe, Wonderful sound with no fart or annoying drone sound!!! I love Flowmaster products and this one dose not disappoint! Very compact with a fantastic look and great build quality to boot.FYI, Flowmaster told me you should have at least 14" of piping after the muffler for it to sound it's best.

I installed this on a 1995 Chevrolet Suburban K1500 with a stock TBI 350, and it went on with no issues. I've put 70 or so miles on it so far, both in town and on the highway. While this muffler is certainly louder than the library-quiet stock muffler, it's not 'loud' at all. I've had no drones or bad noises of any kind. The 3rd seat has been removed, and my second seat is folded down, so they aren't muffling the sound. While the price is a little steep, I'd put this on any V8 I own and be quite pleased. Doesn't sound bad in the parking garage, either.

Little quieter than I wanted but still made my 08 f150 with the 5.4 sound a little meaner while not being obnoxious. No drone on highway, sounds means and decently loud under load but won't attract too much unwanted attention

Very easy to install. I positioned it the same way as my 2011 jeep wrangler stock muffler. It provides a nice sound that isn't loud or annoying and at the same time is strong and you can feel when you gas it. Did not decrease city gas mpg, and I haven't driven it on the highway to tell if mpg increased. I have it installed with spectre air intake and body throttle spacer. Definitely increase in HP, torque, and throttle response. Overall, good product for the price.

Sounds great! I put I on my 2012 scion tc and it has a very nice tone. Plus this is the same muffler flowmaster uses on their 400$ axle back system. So with just a little welding an about 4-5 inches of extra piping I saved about 300$ going this route.

Installed muffler on a 2013 Silverado RC 1/2 ton pickup with a 4.8 V8 engine. After installation noticed an improvement in throttle response (low end) and gas mileage (2 MPG gain). The muffler does not drone at steady throttle, but, sounds great (IMO) when accelerating. Flowmaster "sound" compliments my 5/7 dropped truck.FWIW, muffler was welded into the existing OE exhaust tubing. Cut and welded on a quality rolled edge stainless steel exhaust tip.

Installed on a 2013 Chevy 2500HD 6.0L long bed regular cab. The length, offset orientation, and inlet/outlet diameter are a prefect fit. 2500HDs will have some variance in the exhaust layout between cab/bed layouts, but this fit the 6.0L regular cab long bed perfect. 2011-2014 should all be the same. I cut about an inch in front of the muffler and about an inch and a half away from the rear hanger behind the muffler outlet. This muffler slid right over the stock exhaust pipes. This Flowmaster is a few inches longer than the stock one- which is good so it fits over the pipes. I used band clamps one both ends and got a nice tight seal. If you cut it right, you could easily have the stock muffler welded back in or possibly clamped back on with band clamps. The sound is good- keep in mind this is a 3-chamber Flowmaster, not a 2 chamber like the Super 40 or 44. If you want REALLY aggressive sound, get a 40 or 44 (or 10). Its definitely a 'muffled' sound- definitely some nice...

I installed the 60 Series in a rear-mount configuration, in conjunction with a mid-mounted Flowmaster HP-2 on my 1987 Porsche 944S. The 944 has a relatively large-displacement 4 cylinder, so it produces a lot of the unpleasant raspy resonation associated with 4-bangers. The 60 Series by itself was not able to dampen the raspy sound, but the combination of the 60 series and the HP-2 works very well to do so.It is listed as having a mild to moderate sound with minimal interior resonation. I would classify it as a moderate sound with somewhat more than minimal interior resonation, though my 944 does not have much in the way of sound deadening insulation, either. It was slightly louder than I expected, but not obnoxious, and it produces a pleasing, mellow tone. More of a "European" sound than what you'd associate with your typical Japanese 4-cylinder, if that makes any sense, although it could also be due to the fact that I did install these mufflers on a European...

Installed on a Dodge Dakota 2002 4.7L quadcab. It sounds fantastic. Moderate interior noise while accelerating around 1500-2000 rpm. Which sounds so good its not loud just a good drone. Once up to speed 55mph you can hear it rumbling but not any louder then the wind noise. IMPORTANT Keep in mind this is not a direct fit you will have to have a 12" piece of pipe (2.5in I.D. on one end and 2.5in O.D. on the other end of said pipe.) My friend has a Dakota with a 5.2L with a SUPER 40 series which has almost no interior noise and not quite as loud at idle.

It's honestly not what I was expecting but it's a good muffler. I have dualed 10s on a Ford F100 302 5.0. It's loud...... If I put it in the red it's like a dragster but basic around town not as aggressive as advertised.

I own a 1960 Pontiac Bonneville convertible. I chose the 50 series because I thought it would be quieter than the 40 series which is the classic loud Flowmaster muffler that most car guys know. This 50 series is quieter when idling and when cruising but when you hit the accelerator it roars nearly as loud as the 40 series. I am not talking about stomping the accelerator; I am talking about normal acceleration. This may be ideal for some but my car isn't really supposed to be that loud. I will probably drive around with this for a while but I will not be keeping these on the car in the long term.

Exactly what I was looking for!! I have a 2001 Chevy silverado 2500HD gas that I had this installed on and it's great! Not too loud inside the cab, no more drone to drive me insane! I had a dynamax on previously and it was terrible. Wish I would have went with my gut and bought the flowmaster to start!! It's sounds great. I wanted an exhaust that screamed when it should and then shut off on the highway and this is close to that as you can get!!

Sounds really nice and aggressive, I have an 07 Dodge ram 1500 3.7l V6 6-Speed, Out of all the other mufflers i have purchased from other stores, saying this will sound amazing. Nothing touches a 40 series flow-master. After putting this one on, and Dumping it, with the Catalytic converters pulled out. Sounds killer! Also get average 40-45 miles per gallon with a super awesome sound. (other mods on truck as well)A-lot of the mufflers i put on my truck before they still sounded like a rice burner, I kinda bought this with the same thought about the sound after 2500rpm, No it still sounded like a hoss.Oh yeah by the way, if AutoPartsWAY says does not fit, it does to fit, Just needs to be welded on.

Mike GI installed this on my 1995 Dodge 2500 4x4 to replace a stock muffler. MUCH Cheaper than a factory unit and the sound is great. I ended up getting a Magnaflow Universal tailpipe and a 18 inch piece of pipe to space it all out correctly. I have been running this for a year and still sounds good.

Had this installed on a 2003 Honda Pilot. sounds great. Can't say for sure if it helped performance or not. I have gotten 23 mpg for the first time ever from this vehicle after muffler installation. Once again no way to know for sure if this is because of the muffler.

They came in just like i remember my first set looking, and i installed them this past weekend. made an old inline 6 mud truck sound way better. they just have a unique sound. came quickly as well. Could have been packaged a little better, but they are heavy so that contributes to the boxes being in rougher shape. the mufflers looked great tho.

Ordered this muffler for my 04 F150. After arriving quickly and on time I slapped this little box of joy under my truck. The sound is aggresive and has a nice throaty growl. When I start this up in the morning the silence is destroyed along with any peaceful sleep the neighbors are in. Children and small animals scatter, windows shake, and a smile comes across my face. I'm told that on quiet days you can hear my truck a mile away. If your looking for borderline obnoxious this is for you. It really comes to life when you lay on the skinny pedal.

This flowmaster is perfect. I ran dual exhaust to the muffler then duals to the back with not cats. I was concerned it was going to be too loud but Flowmaster nailed it. The car has that muscle car sound at an idle. At higher RPM's it tunes in with a rich tone. I can have a conversation with the passenger the entire time. It's loud outside and drowned out fairly well inside. It's the perfect match for a Camaro.

I put this series on my 1993 chevy camaro 3.4L V6, it has a great sound not like a annoying import pissed off bumble bee sound, it has a deep sound with a deep kinda raspy sound when accelerating!

After looking around for different exhaust options, I decided to replace the muffler on my Avalanche rather than go with a full cat-back system. I absolutely love the sound of this muffler and would highly recommend it. If you're looking for something louder than stock but not obnoxious, this muffler is it. It gets fairly loud on hard acceleration but the sound is deep and aggressive and it isn't followed by any drone while cruising, which was something that was important to me.

Perfect fit on my '98 Wrangler with no room for factor exhaust due to mods. Quality appears superb. Not "quiet" by any means, but takes away the harshness and has a much better tone than running just the cat with no muffler!

Very easy to install on my 02 Ford F350 V-10! Now my truck sounds more like a truck, however the exhaust is still very mellow. I was looking for a little more tone, should have purchased the racing muffler. But I'm still happy with the purchase, very heavy duty construction.

I had this muffler installed on a 2013 Dodge Challenger RT (which has a V8 Hemi) 6 speed manual. I also had the resonators deleted, so the car is loud. Most of the increased volume is due to removing the resonators, so I can't comment about how loud this muffler as a stand alone product might make your vehicle sound, but I will say it added a sweet note when downshifting in particular, but also under acceleration. It produces a deep gurgling sound that you would expect a muscle car to make! It's an inexpensive way to make your vehicle sound bad to the bone.

I bought this to replace my rusted stock muffler on my F-250 w the V-10. Build quality is great. Welded on nicely to stock pipe. I didn't put any piping on the output side as it quieted the muffler down a little too much for my liking. Even a small turn down on it made it substantially quieter, but that wasn't what I was going for so that came off in a hurry.

I picked 5 star because they did exactly what I was hopping. When i got to the shop and fired up my truck it sounded like it had stock mufflers on it real quite and kinda lame, but when i got on the road i floored it and man do they sing quite a nice tune very noticeable if ya put your foot in it and thats what I was looking for. I would recommend flowmaster mufflers to everyone who loves there car or truck!!! you can hear how happy your rig is when you put them on.

I have a tacoma pre runner 2011, after a good research and a call to flowmaster, I decide to put this one, why? I like to hear the sound a littler louder than the stock and the super 50 series the one that flowmaster recomend to this truck, almost all the people said that sound like the stock, what I dont want, I you want to hear your truck, this is it, not to loud, and not to quiet, the sound is great and Seems to me to be stronger, I dont know yet if consume less gas, I will write about that later, I hope, this help you make the right choice. Great muffler, I put this on my 07 Honda Ridgeline. It has some good sound on the low RPM side with it mellowing out at cruising speeds. Not much resonance in the cabin outside what you want to hear. I would definitely make this purchase again but since this is SS. I will not have to.

If u want that nice growl and roar when u get on the gas but dont want to be deff or eventually annoyed by the inside droan in the cab. These are great. Put 2 of these on. One off each bank of the motor with side exit exhaust. Not saying that there peeper exhaust. U will still know there not stock. But mostly the sound is there when u most like it. When your trucks burnin off the tires through the gears. Even cruzin through town it sounds good. Get it all the time that my truck sounds good. Got a lot more than just theses mufflers but the rest is all still bolt on.

I bought this not knowing how loud or quiet it would be. i tried to research it on youtube but it was hard to really hear the sound it makes. i did had to cut about 1.5inch of my pipe to make it fit perfectly with no problem. Now the sound is exactly what i wanted. it make that rumble sound but quiet. i can hear my radio with no problem and my truck sound great

After all the issues with the shipping, I finally got it and had it installed. The fit was awesome, a direct replacement in the OE position. The performance from this muffler can be felt. I am a bit disappointed with the sound. The description said moderate, but it is actually quite mild in sound. I was expecting a bit throatier sound, one you could hear at idle and under acceleration. I would sit recommend it for its performance, but would pick another muffler for a more noticeable sound!

My Rotrex supercharged 4 cylinder expels a great deal of exhaust CFMs and decibels with a 3" straight pipe.In an effort to reduce the noise, a Flowmaster dBX was installed. The result was a significant reduction of noise, but regretfully also an unexceptable amount of horsepower and torque as well. The Flowmaster Pro Series was installed. The noticeable increase in flow, horsepower, and torque, far outweight the minor decibel increase over the dBX.I will confirm other reviews stating that the black powercoating scratches easily. Yet, it is a muffler, which will be mounted under your car probably never to be seen again.

If you're looking at this review, you already understand the benefits of replacing the factory exhaust system with something less restrictive. I want the better performance but I also want sound control. I drive 6 hours at a time sometimes and I can't have the exhaust sound giving me headaches it's so loud. I chose the Flowmaster 70 series dual in/single out muffler to keep the tailpipe quiet. The muffler by itself isn't enough for sound control.Quite often 4 and 6 cylinder engines sound raspy unless you have a resonator in front of the muffler. I looked at Magnaflow and Flowmaster because of their reputations in car clubs, etc. After multiple conversations with fellow enthusiasts, I settled on the Flowmaster Hushpower II stainless offering. No the tailpipe isn't as quiet as the factory restrictive muffler (when we cut the original exhaust system out, we found a section of pipe that necked DOWN on it's way to the muffler) BUT the truck does pull the trailer over the same...

After viewing many videos while shopping for mufflers for my 2013 Chevy Camaro RS V6, I chose this Delta Flowmaster.I couldn't be more satisfied by both the price, and the performance. I've had them on the car for two months so far, and she sounds better, and runs better, every day.

I absolutely loved this muffler for about 6 months and that's when i realized how annoying the cabin drone is. Don't get me wrong this muffler has a great loud tone but the drone gets annoying. The drone is so bat it vibrates the cabin while on the highway. If you want a muffler that is loud and doesn't mind drone this is the muffler for you.If you want a muffler with a deep mild tone and no drone this is the one for you >>

Got a shop to install this on my 04 Chevy Avalanche for 60 bucks (welded). I used the original pipes just changed the muffler. This flowmaster is a single inlet and single outlet. I had to cut some of the piping because the stock muffler had a dual outlet. The flowmaster super 40 series gave my truck an overall deep aggressive exhaust note and it really catches people's attention. Since installing i have gained +2 mpg, i have also notice an improvement in the overall response of the vehicle when i hit the gas. The resonance inside the truck is not overwhelming at all, i am still able to hold a conversation without yelling and also listen to my music... Great purchase!! Flowmaster never Disappoints..

This was the perfect choice. When it was put in and I drove it for the first time, I was like I had just gotten that special xmas gift, I was grinning ear to ear. It has a great tone outside and just enough sound to let you know it's there, inside the car (for me Expedition). My wife is not annoyed at all, which is totally awesome, I have to admit I was a little worried that "I did a bad thing" but fellas I think I am home free.

This is a GREAT sounding muffler, it has a very aggresive sound. I have a SRT8 and this makes it sound like a BEAST. When you open up the throttle you will feel and hear it. No weedeater sounding exhaust here, this exhaust is for big boy toys.

First, I'd like to say this muffler sounds amazing on my vehicle Dodge Ram. It's not too loud but not too quiet either. I get compliments often and no complaints. That to me, is the perfect exhaust. I can't speak for the fit, since I paid $50 to a muffle shop to hang it but I'd assume if they had any problems they would have let me know (and charged me more!). If your looking to put a little spunk into your ride, this is the muffle to get. As long as I'm driving a V8, I plan on having flowmaster under me.

Great muffler! I have this installed on my 1998 K1500 Silverado. It's got a 5.7L Vortech approaching 200k miles.I have the Magnaflow 15042 & Magnaflow 15043 coming off this muffler. The rest of the exhaust on the truck is stock, but it really sounds mean! My friend with the same motor in his Camaro has long tube headers and 2.25" straight pipe all the way back. It is loud and in your face, but doesn't really sound good. The Super 40 really gives off a 'performance' sound without being too obnoxious.Very pleased! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have that deep and mean sound to their truck.

I bought this to replace the rotted Gibson muffler we had on our 2002 Chevy Suburban with the 5.3L. The Gibson was part of a CAT back single in, dual out system we put on about 5 years ago. While the Gibson was pretty mellow, and sounded nice, the Flowmaster 44 Series is much louder, much less mellow and seriously throaty. This is the sound I was looking for originally, and could not be happier. That being said, you will hear this inside the vehicle, and it will likely be rather loud under load, but if you don't mind the sound (and no one in my house, spouse and kids included, does) then you won't be disappointed. I should also note that the muffler seems really well built, good welds, heavy steel, overall very good quality.

I originally bought a Flowmaster exhaust system for my daughter's Ford Focus to give it some relief with back pressure for better acceleration and give a ballsy sound. Well, the sound was getting her stopped by many policemen. Funny, I was never pulled over, but don't have the looks my daughter has.Even though she was never given a ticket except for one time, the cops' reason for stopping her was always noise. After the last time she was stopped and received her only ticket, I decided to go with the muffler built specifically for that Flowmaster exhaust and quieted the sound on the high end (higher gears on the highway), but still keeps the car throaty sounding in the lower gears. Very cool! The only complaint I have is that the lead pipe was a different size than the original lead pipe, so the installation cost more than expected, but if you're a do it your-selfer, it's not an issue.Flowmaster makes top quality products.

I installed this Flowmaster dual in single out muff behind the already installed cold air intake, shorty headers, cats, and resonators. The dual intake acts like an X pipe. This 70 series isn't as quiet as the restrictive factory muff, but is much quieter than the 50 series Flowmaster it replaced. I like the solid construction of the Flowmaster over the Magnaflow offerings. I travel certain roadways regularly, pulling a load behind me, and find that the Tacoma V6 now has noticable HP gains as well as MPG improvements. If you want to avoid driving yourself right out of the cab on long trips due to muffler noise, the 70 series may be the solution you're looking for.

I bought this Muffler for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler to replace the muffler on my aftermarket Banks Monster Exhaust. my old muffler lost all of its packing after a few years and developed a loud drone inside. I assume that muffler burnt out because it is immediately after the catalytic converter and the heat was too much for it. The flowmaster is a chambered muffler (no packing to burn out) so I am not concerned with it getting louder over time. The sound is good, not too loud but you can definitely hear it inside, although once you get up to speed with a soft top everything is loud. if I had the hard top Possibly would go with the 50 series

I can't really give a review for how this product works on its own since it's one of 2 mufflers on my diesel. I can say that my wife and I noticed the difference in the noise level in the truck immediately. I now hear the engine more than the exhaust, which is what I wanted. The drone was a killer especially when hauling anything up hill with a 5 inch exhaust no muffler. I then installed a 51 inch Donaldson which helped tremendously, but didn't totally cut out the drone and noise level in the cabin. Now, I have a 51 inch Donaldson at the rear of the truck and this Hushpower right in front of it. The drone is nearly totally gone and quite muffled even when pushing the truck. As the internals get coated with soot, the sound changes slightly. I gave it 5 stars because it was a noticeable difference. I didn't have the option of testing the muffler on its own though.

This is just what the doctor ordered for my exhaust. FLOW THROUGH is wow, But the noise reduction is some what to be desired on my BMW convertible. Can you say alittle too raspy. If your looking for RICER great buy, BUT NO NOISE reduction on this bad boy.

Installed on 12' F150 5.0. Very pleased with this muffler! I had Midas install it (hour and a half). The installer moved the muffler back about 2" from where the original was and sleeved the exhaust from the muffler forward to the cats to lower the sound inside the truck. I had a 07 Mustang gt before this truck and to be honest this muffler made the exhaust sound better and louder than the stock exhaust I had on my Mustang. Deep aggressive sound.

Good throaty sound that not to aggressive and that's what you get with Flowmaster 70`s. This is just the ticket for my sons Cheyenne pickup truck. I use nothing but Flowmaster as they give the power and sound a real truck deserves. Flowmaster uses no fiberglass so they will not collapse and burn out the engines valves, lessons learned the hard way. If you serious about taking care of you vehicle the go Flowmaster!

For the V6 truck owners wanting to make your truck loud, if youre wanting the loudest thing out there to make your truck sound like a V8. This isnt what your looking for, if you want a good to moderate sound and noticeable performance gains, this is what you need to get, with a K&N air filter. End of story.

I have this on my 1993 Toyota pickup 22RE. After doing some adaptations for the exhaust, it came out sounding like an actual truck instead of sounding like it was gasping for air (that's what the stock muffler sounded like). It's a little ricey sounding when idling, but delivers a nice aggressive growl when you accelerate. It also flows a better than stock so I'm enjoying a fairly decent mileage and power increase.

I've had this flowmaster on my 99' Buick Century for about 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier about buying it. The sound is awesome, a huge difference from the stock muffler. My favorite thing about this muffler is that I've actually noticed a significant increase in the fuel economy.

I wanted to give my truck a little sound and possibly improve my fuel mileage, but did not want to spend $400 on duals. Its a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with a 5.3L. I used the stock tailpipe and purchased two adapters that were 3" OD to 2 3/4"ID and a 12" piece of 3" OD pipe I cut down in length and some clamps. This muffer is shorter than the factory muffler. It fits real good to the factory pipes like that. It sounds good, not very loud at idle, just a little tone and driving down the road you can hear it in the cab a little but not annoying. The gas mileage has been a couple MPG better. I was afraid it was going to be too loud but its not, so I am glad I went with this one and not a quieter series. I am sure it would be louder with duals, but I am fine with this and think it sounds good.

I bought the muffler not sure if i'd like the sound being that I was putting it on a Toyota Mr2 Mk1 and since then it has given me a whole new love for my car! This muffler is amazing loud and deep love it and the performance gain I got from it!

I bought a pair of these for my 2001 Mustang GT. I wanted to wake my Mustang up a bit but not go crazy. Don't be fooled by the videos on youtube that make these sounds quiet and raspy, these mufflers sound amazing welded in to the stock exhaust system. These are the same length as the stock mufflers with the correct offset/diameter outlets.

I put this on my 2007 NBS Silverado LT1 Ext. Cab 4x4 with the 4.8L. I've previously installed a K&N filter, Airaid intake tube, the SuperChips Flashpaq tuner with the 87 performance tune loaded, and now the Super 50 Series Flowmaster 53057 using the stock exhaust. I debated between the Super 50 and Big Block 70 Series, but went with the Super 50. Everything else is stock. It definitely has more throttle response and the engine seems to labor less. As far as better fuel mileage, I'll try and provide an update once I've run a few tanks through it (and learned to keep my foot out of it).I was perfectly happy with the stock sound w/ the stock resonator, but was looking for a little extra hp/throttle response, maybe mileage, and a little extra rumble. As far as the new sound, here are some pros/cons that I've notice:No internal resonance in the cab an highway speed and steady throttle, but as you give more gas, you then know it's back there and some...

The muffler arrived quickly. I removed the stock muffler on a 2011 Jeep JK and installed this muffler ahead of the rear axle next to the evaporator. There was not any size issues and the Hushpower has a reduced heat flow technology built in. And best of all, the sound and power gains are great. I am very satisfied with this product.

this is the 4th flowmaster muffler i have purchased and you just can't beat the sound.has a nice rumble sound but is not to loud for a daily driver. i put this one on a f-150super crew and the interior sound level went up a bit but not that noticable with the radio going. but roll down the windows and get on it and your sold on flowmaster.trade that boat anchor stock muffler for this and you won't be dissapointed.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy the 50 series. I originally had purchased a flowmaster 40 for my 08 GMC Sierra and although I loved the sound, when cruising at highway speeds the drone inside the cab got old really fast. I purchased this one here on AutoPartsWAY and had my muffler shop switch them out. I still have the rumbling growl at startup and when I mash on the gas the flowmaster beast announces itself! Best of all at cruising speeds its waaaaay quieter.

Bought the muffler for my 1985 Buick Century and so far it sounds good. For $89 it was probably cheaper than the stock muffler and certainly far cheaper than what Flowmaster or the auto stores were going to sell it to me for.

Just had my super 10 series muffler installed! The super ten series sound amazing ! It has good deep growl to it , sounds smooth and aggressive! Throttle response is little more responsive . Dont know about mpg kind of went down i kept my foot in it lLOL! One smooth and aggresive exhaust! This was my first exhaust i put on my 5.3 silverado! It drones a little but it aint that noticeable. You can still have a conversation in cab and hear the exhaust talking ! I would highly recommend the super 10 series to anyone wanting an aggresive exhaust . Well Satisfied ! Hope this helps anyone wanting a great sounding exhaust!

Great sound! I'm sure I'm going to save some gas over time with better flow. Exactly what I was looking for. It's light and sturdy compare to stock. Perfect fit! Happy camper!

Searching for a muffler for my 2007 F150 brought me to this little gem. I was wanting something with a little bit of a growl, without going all out straight pipe. The description says "aggressive sound", and that is how I would describe this muffler once mounted on my vehicle. It is just loud enough, maybe tipping a little to the too much side even, but not over kill. That being said, I was a little disappointed that it came with no mounting hardware at all. No clamps or hangers, just 4 or 5 Flowmaster stickers. I still gave it 5 stars, because it never said in the description that it came with any hardware. My own neglect led to this disappointment, so I could not in good conscience leave a star off this quality products' review. Especially considering that 2 clamps set me back a whole $4 from my local auto parts store. Great product, great sound, solid purchase.

This I bought for a friend and we installed it on his Jetta and I don't think there is a better sounding Muffler for a 4 cylinder vehicle - it does not have any obnoxious loud FART can Import sound like some round mufflers. FLOWMASTER went above and beyond in designing this muffler - great deep throaty sound and excellent exhaust flow.

I purchased Flowmaster Super 44's to put on a 2000 Bonneville with the GM 3800 Supercharged engine. The exhaust exits out both sides at the rear of the car, so two mufflers were required. The end result was a pleasant sound that I wish was a little more pronounced. I'm sure if it was a single muffler it'd be plenty loud, but with two it's pretty subdued. The tone is great though, nice deep, hollow sound, reminiscent of a small V8, even on this V6 engine. A touch of drone at idle, but nearly inaudible in the car while cruising, regardless of RPM. Build quality is top notch and made in the USA, you can't go wrong. Flowmaster makes excellent products and I would not hesitate to purchase these mufflers again.

Vehicle: 4.8L v8, Chevy Silverado, pretty much stock.I wanted a deep and aggressive sound. This muffler delivered! I've had Flowmaster 40s and 44s on other vehicles and really enjoyed them but wanted something even MEANER. I am VERY satisfied with this muffler. It does drone but so does every other loud and aggressive muffler. The thing is, the droning is so deep and rumbly that it sounds amazing.I recommend either dumping the tailpipe over the axle or running the tailpipes out the back if this is going on a daily driver.Once again, this thing is MEAN. Exactly what I wanted, I am very satisfied.Mufflers I have owned: Super 40 on a 5.3L(and 4.8L v8, 5.7L v8) v8, Super 44 on a 5.3L v8, Dynomax 12" Bullet on the 4.8L v8If you want to turn heads this super aggressive muffler is for you.

I'm running one of these on my wife's 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis (2 valve 4.6L V8). I removed the secondary catalytic converters (the primaries are still there and it still passes emissions, so calm down) and made a 2.25" y-pipe merging in to a single 3 inch pipe, exiting out the back in the stock location (albeit with a much larger pipe). I have regular 40-series mufflers on two other cars (one dual 2.5", one dual 3"), and the Delta Flow technology really does reduce interior resonance compared to those. The tone is slightly different, but still distinctly Flowmaster. With the factory gearing, this muffler is not annoying at any cruise speeds between 45 and 80MPH, even with the overdrive turned off. But you can definitely tell that it's there, even in a fairly well-insulated car like the Marquis. I probably would not go any louder (ie, plain 40 or super 44) in an insulated daily driver, and this might be just on the border line in an older car with less sound deadening.

This muffler is great.... amazing low sound on the low end of the RPM range, and cruising on the interstate at 75 it is surprisingly quiet. I would recommend this to anyone!

I had a 40 series on my 03 Dodge 2500 Hemi and it sounded great. From idle to wide open it was a good growl with a good bark when you hit it. You can definitely hear the motor all the time. I had my system replaced and went with a 50 series and I think its alot quieter in the cab and out. If you like to hear your motor through the throttle get the 40, if you want a little sound but still cruises quiet get the 50.

I bought this muffler for my V6 mustang. It says that it will not fit V6's but that is false. Just as long as it is clamped extra tight, or welded on, it will fit. My mustang is single exhaust, but with this one muffler it sounds like a dual exhaust. If you want a great muffler with a nice deep roar, this is the muffler for you.

I purchased this muffler from AutoPartsWAY and got it with the free shipping. Purchased for a 1999 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban. The muffler was much heavier than I expected for it's size. I found this was because of the thickness of steal used in construction. This is not your cheapo turbo muffler. Well constructed here. Took it to my muffler guy to install. Installation was a very simple. Just cut old out and weld new in. He did have to cut two 5" sleaves as adaptors for the intake side. The sound is great for what I wanted. What I wanted was a nice deep tone that was not much louder than stock and was not annoying when driving. That is what I got. At idle with the windows up it sounds like stock. Crack the throttle open and you get a deep throaty sound. This muffler seems to be the loudest with moderate throttle application. But still a very mild plesant sound. At cruising speeds of 60-70mph it returns to its factory sound level. Only time you hear it is going up hills...

I love how this sounds on my 99 Durnago 5.2. This adds just enough sound to let people know your there, not over power the stock audio system. A+++ I am not sure how much difference in performance it has made, but it feels peppier.

I went with this muffler because it was dircect fit for my 7.4L big block. The sound is amazing!!! I didnt want anything to loud but i wanted to hear my truck thru the exhaust. On take off I get a nice low mean growl but running on interstate I cant tell any difference from the stock muffler in terms of sound. No annoying drone. The biggest benefit from this muffler was that I gained a little over 1 mpg. Probably even more, since i been getting into the pedal a little bit more because I love the sound. Only one draw back, I wish it was stainless steel. I couldn't find this muffler on flowmaster's website in stainless steel.

I bought this muffler needing a replacement for yet another p.o.s. cheap muffler that looked nice and shiny and was cheap but ended up rusting and falling apart or the packing in it burns up and ends up being ridiculously loud both inside and more importantly directly in my ears making it difficult, at certain rpm's, to either hold a conversation or hear the radio. Anyways when I received this I was immediately impressed by not only the built quality but also the sound is a thousand times better than the cheap "fart cans" and it doing the muffling using metal baffles rather than fiberglass or whatever is used, it won't eventually get louder its just a little louder than stock on the inside and not noticeable @ idle. The only issue I have with it would have to be the lack of a tail pipe but that makes sense that they wouldnt include one considering this is more of a universal muffler, nevertheless great product.

This was to replace a magnaflow muffler on a 1993 Honda Accord. I was tired of a ricey sound, and this removed it. The sound is deep and pleasant. It sounds aftermarket, but you can still think and talk in the vehicle. I am very pleased with this muffler for a 4 cylinder car.

Flowmaster is the last sound your engine will make. The units produce the perfect tone - yet at cruising speed are not adding unwanted noise. I have all my friends installing these (we all have p71 crown vics).

Hi,I actually purchased this muffler form [...], but I wanted to leave a review on AutoPartsWAY to help out those who have come here for what I love AutoPartsWAY for... the great and helpful reviews! Well, a couple of years ago I purchased two Flowmasters Super 44 mufflers to go behind my two cats (catalytic converters). These went on my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 HD (Crew Cab with 6' short bed) 6.0L V8. I was excited since I would have true duals and the loudest mufflers that Flowmaster made. They sounded like a hot rod on the outside and the inside resonance and noise was terrible, especially around 25 mph and 75 mph (horrible roaring/annoying sound). After a year, I had to get rid of them and put my stock back on. I needed something aftermarket, but wanted a deep mellow tone with good low end power for my truck. Behold, the 70 series big block II. A great sounding muffler that lets you know you have a powerful muffler, but not annoying in the least bit. The inside resonance is...

I purchased a set of these for my mustang and damn!!!!!!!!!!! do they sound good. Now, i do have a cam, shorty headers, x-pipe incorperated with my 306 but I do believe that these would sound great ony a stock vechile as well. I swapped my super 44's for these and it is quietier inside the car which is nice and better sounding outside. Personally, my rpm's have dropped about 200 at cruising speed which was a nice suprise, and i assume that is because there is less resistance because of the one vs two chamber setup i had before. anywho, I like, maybe you will. P.S. I don't have dumps, straight out the rear, or could be real loud!!!!

I bought a pair of Flowmasters 42443 I/O mufflers for my 2003 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, and let me tell ya it's freakin awesome! It totally gave my car a meaner, louder, more aggressive sound. I recommend this to any mustang enthusiast looking for the same. The price was also unbeatable compared to the $250 price tag at local muffler shops.

I had such an increase in power I couldn't believe it! My Jeep has great pickup and go now! I didn't get better mileage until I put on a stainless steel exhaust header that I paid $129 for off Ebay. Yes, you do need to disconnect the battery cable to reset the on board computer. No big deal. Traveling down the road with the windows up you hear almost nothing. However, with windows down and taking off from the starting line... you can hear the rumble that's music to the ears. I highly recommend this muffler. Take it to a muffler shop, have the exit pipe expanded to 2 1/2", and make or buy a tailpipe to match and you will definitely feel the improvement in power.

What an improvement! With the Flowmaster series 50 Delta Flow mufflers, my 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate sounds so much better - and it still is nice and quiet inside at cruising speed. Just as described on the Flowmaster homepage, and just as expected. Those mufflers are worth their price.
