  • The Flowmaster Outlaw Axle-back exhaust system is specifically designed for the 2018-2022 Ford Mustang GT coupes and convertibles with the 5.0L engine. This system features a pair of race-proven Outlaw Series mufflers for an aggressive exterior sound level with noticeable interior sound. The system utilizes 3.00-inch mandrel-bent 409S stainless steel tubing, utilizes the factory hanger locations for an easy installation, and is finished off with quad 4.00-inch black ceramic coated tips for an aggressive look that matches the attitude of the sound. This axle-back system retains the factory resonator mid-pipe. For more sound and power, check out our Scavenger Series no resonator X-Pipe kit part #817817. This system is designed for vehicles without active exhaust valves and includes all the necessary parts, hardware and installation instructions.

Through use of these dynos, Flowmaster's engineering staff can track the complete engine cycle in millionths of a second and can obtain exact technical data of each degree of cam rotation, from induction to the tip of the exhaust system, while also showing the power numbers that really matter, the power numbers "to the ground." Flowmaster also utilizes Spectrum Analyzers to fine "tune" the sound of each of the eleven different series of mufflers that Flowmaster currently offers, both for peak performance and just the right sound levels and tones.
