2013 Chevrolet Express 3500 A/C Accumulator Four Seasons

  • Features:
    • Our accumulator / filter driers feature quality welds for a durable, leak-free design in addition to high-quality desiccant for appropriate absorption. For easy installation, necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included as well.
    • Replacement of the accumulator / filter drier is required to validate compressor warranty and must be replaced anytime the system is serviced.
    • The absorption of moisture in the system is done through the use of a desiccant bag. A leaking or "open" system can cause the bag to become saturated within a few hours making the accumulator/filter drier ineffective.
    • As a manufacturer in accumulator/filter driers, we offer quality units produced in a ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility. State-of-the-art equipment and high quality materials ensure product integrity for long lasting performance.
    • The accumulator / filter drier acts as a filter by removing moisture and contaminants from the air conditioning system. Such contaminants cannot be removed by flushing, therefore replacing the accumulator / filter drier is essential.
  • Our products are engineered and tested to provide years of trouble free operation. Backed by over 50 years of mobile a/c experience, fix it once and fix it right with Four Seasons.

I replaced the compressor, accumulator, orifice tube, oil and flushed the system using only four seasons parts. They are well built and made in Texas. System will produce 40 degree air on a very hot day (100+) in TX and even colder if below 95. Compressor had a bit of wear in on the gap between the pulley and the plate that drives the compressor shaft. When not engaged the plate rubbed slightly against the pully creating a scrapping sound. Only happened when compressor off... It has worn in now and no longer makes this sound. I would rate the value of the parts very high as I paid $68 for the rebuilt compressor and it was $268 at the local parts store. I would only buy four seasons parts and I would get them from AutoPartsWAY. Four stars because of the scrapping and I am rating all parts as a "package." Would have been five stars and maybe it will be down the road.

I put this on my 1985 F-350 diesel factory-A/CLike the last two of these accumulators I have put on Fords, the long goose-neck tube is not hardly shaped exactly like the original equipment one, thus the two threaded line fittings are a fight to get the threads started true.Mine came with a little bag with all the necessary green O-rings, taped to the housing. One alteration I always do to these, on the advice of the local automotive-A/C expert, is to remove and dis-card the Schraeder valve-core that is in the accumulator fitting. There is already a Schraeder valve-core in the line-coupling that screws onto that fitting and his reasoning is that leaving the one core behind the other often creates a leak. All I know is that I have never had any negative issues from dis-carding said core; do so at your own peril.
