These plugs are very nice and the price is right. I'm not sure that they are any better than any other quality double platinum plug, but they for sure are a very well made plug. I've never experienced any failures with Autolite plugs, platinum or otherwise. I have experienced plug failures with other well known and reputable brands but not Autolite. This is the primary reason I stick with Autolite.

Great quality product. These exceed the quality of the OEM spark plugs for my 1998 Honda Accord EX, that is the reason I purchased these and not the recomended brand. I've used AutoLite brand before and would recommend them to others.

These make my truck start and run just like other brands of plugs I have used over the last 50 years. I can't tell if one brand really works better than another. Of course these will last longer than regular plugs because they are double platinum. I suspect that a compressed volume of gasoline vapor burns in the same manner regardless of how it ignites. And since the spark is only on for microseconds, once the fuel is ignited, it's the sustained flame front propagation which would be the same regardless of how its ignited. I wish someone would do a scientific test of different brands of spark plugs.

I have been using this series of plugs that have proven to give performance for close to 100,000 miles in most casesThey are well made and resist the elements. If you want them to last that long make sure your intake manifold gasket and the rocker cover gaskets are not leaking into and around the plugs

I've been searching all over and as of today May 17th, 2014, Autolite is the only company that makes Iridium plug for small gas engines. I bought this over a month ago to replace the Champion RDJ7Y in my 4 cycle 34cc Craftsman trimmer. I've used it twice since then. It runs alot smoother and quieter, or shall I say, not as loud, and the gas trigger feels lighter. This is the perfect companion to 3.4oz of full synthetic 10w30 motor oil and Shell 93 octane super unleaded gasoline in the trimmer. I let my grass grow to about 12" and with more power, it doesn't bog down as much. This plug model is quite standard and it also fits in my old 2 cycle Ryobi trimmer. Ditch those copper plugs. They cost more in the local stores than this high tech Iridium plug on AutoPartsWAY.I took the liberty of copying the cross reference numbers from Autolite's website for your convenient:Bosch 7814, HS7FChampion 5851, 851EZ, 855, 872, DJ6Y, DJ7Y, RDJ7YDenso T20MP-UE3 E3.16...

I was told long ago, maybe 30 years, that Autolite was the best plug for longevity and reliability. I've been using them ever since and can attest to that fact as they are rarely an issue when something arises in the tune up process. Some say to use AC, NGK and Autolite. I stuck with Autolite and have been satisfied for over 30 years.

I used the autolite app985 double platnum sparkplug for my 2003 jeep wrangler sahara. The plugs are excellent and i'd recommend them for any jeep owners.

This is the second set for the Civic, I ran the first set 60k and they still looked fine, a little worn but still working good. Since I was doing a general tune up, I figured a new set of plugs, cap, rotor and wires was in order. Can't beat the price for double platinums, I'll keep using them.

I have always used Autolite plugs but this is my first time with the double platinum variety. They were all gapped equally from the factory and smoothed out the idle on my Wrangler. I highly suggest the double platinum if you have the newer (hotter) coil pack equipped 4.0.

I like Autolite plugs because they are better than others in our cars. Just remember to put anti-sieze on the threads even on cast iron heads. Put anti-sieze especially on aluminum heads on spark plug threads.

I use them in my 1992 GMC and they are just fine. I have to toCalifornia's ridiculous test only smog checks every two yearsand the truck has never failed to pass smog. I change out theplugs every two years. One has to remember that these areNON-RESISTOR spark plugs and may foul up signals from yourcar's computers, but they had no effect on my truck.

I bought these for my 2006 Mazda MPV during a recent stint of misfire problems. First, I tried to used Bosch +4 Platinum plugs which I've used with success on every vehicle I've owned. Unfortunately, they caused the coils(which were new) to fail in the Duratec engine. I've since replaced everything with these plugs and new coils; NO issues since! Great product, price and shipping was quick!

I bought these to replace my old bosch spark plugs on my Wrangler and I'm very impressed. I installed them wrong at first (wrong gap, coil rail, etc.) and the engine idled very aggressively. So I redid them and started the Jeep right up and it idled smoother than ever. I've heard mixed results about these, but I am very happy with them and highly recommend them to anybody.

This plug comes with a UNLIMITED mileage and 5 year warranty. Platinum is on the tip and the bottom and you get plat to plat firing. Sure many will say copper is a better conduit but Platinum works very well and in no way gives less of a spark. These plugs you can put in and rest assured you can get 100,000 easy if not well over many more miles. Most people trade their cars in before they drive 100,000 miles miles, this plug will be all you need. I have been using Auto Lites for years and years and NEVER a bad plug, not once. I drive for a living and spend 80,000 miles a year on the road in my car. I have tried other brands but always come back to Auto Lite (except for my Corolla which requires a twinn plug or better, I use E3 in that). You can't go wrong with Auto Lite Double Platinum! Even reg platinum is a very good plug too, you'll get a good 70,000 miles on them without any problems. Years ago I started off with their copper plugs, very good and in-expensive plug, you...

What can I say about these four little wonders. They have given my little car the spark it needs to get her through the day. A match made in heaven for my little econobox.

I researched the type of plug that is best for Ford ignitions with the wasted spark ignition and the double platinum was listed as one of the best. I have had good performance from this type of plug. Some users claim that one of the platinum buttons came off but I have not had that problem so far. I am impressed with these plugs and recommend them.
