I believe this part is made by Bilstein, but I am not sure nowadays. Everyone claims to be the original manufacturers supplier.To actually write a meaningful review, it is much too early in the game.Those dampers are supposed to be replaced every 60,000 Miles.I don't know if I am still around when this happens. The one I took out was merely a bicycle airpump. It had absolutely no damping effect. Unfortunately, I have no repair history of this vehicle and am guessing that it was the first one, since it had the Boge logo embossed.If so, it was in there for 220,000 miles, not bad I'd say.With new one? I don't know! So far it dramatically improved handling and you can actually feel the damping. -
