The Steering Damperner works great, it was also very fast and easy to change!
-
Very happy with the steering damper so far. Installed easily and seems to perform great! Can't beat the inexpensive price for a name brand product.

The correct suspension damper for a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with stock suspension brackets. Unless you have changed your leaf spring mounts or your steering rods, this is what you need. Stiffened up the steering feel and reduced bounce in the steering wheel from the road. Hopefully it will last as long as the original.

This was a great replacement for the OEM steering stabilizer on my 2001 Silverado 2500HD. Like the original damper, this replacement does not have a boot like some aftermarket dampers do. This damper includes a replacement tapered stud (center link end) but does not include the nut/bolt at the frame end...simply reuse your factory nut/bolt.

much better than the worn out one i replaced it with. steering feels much better. good replacement for oem stabilizer

I installed this on my 1997 K2500 Suburban that had a factory damper. It went on easily. It comes with new hardware for the tie rod end, but you need to reuse your hardware for the axle side so don't damage it when you take it off.The package arrived on time and without damage.Great Buy!

Installation was easy and drives so much better! Great shock for a low price! Buy it! It won't let you down!

Product was selected from others like it due to black color and wanted it to remain unseen, but it doesn't seem to be heavy duty enough for mildly larger front tires.....lots of bump steer still......

I bought this stabilizer to replace the stock unit on my 2011 Jeep JK. The Monroe stabilizer is certainly larger and more robust than the factory unit. The unit I received was in perfect condition, without scratches or dings. I did need to loosen the the stabilizer bracket on the tie rod and move it over slightly due to the larger size of this unit. Overall, this is a quality stabilizer that is as good, if not better, than many higher priced brands.

I have never been let down by Monroe products. I bought this to replace the totally worn out stock dampener on my Ford Superduty and it did the trick for less than it costs locally at parts stores.

this item arrived exactly as described. fit and function are perfect and so far has been a difference maker in how my vehicle drives. thank you.

Replaced my old stock damper and the first thing I noticed was that it was easier to steer. The old one was so worn out that is was making it hard to turn the steering wheel. The new damper is doing a great job of keeping my old truck suspension from floating without making the steering overly diffacult.

I just noticed some issues with driving straight and thought I'd replace this old steering damper and my shocks and see if it made a difference. I had already replaced my ball joints and tie rod ends, so this was the next logical step. Seems to have worked. I don't notice issues with steering any longer. May have to do with having a lighter wallet though....

Bought this steering shock, received quickly, quality is A-1. only thing I would of wanted was to a choose color other than just black.

The original damper strut on my Ford SD was well past its prime. Replacing this one part made a noticeable difference in on-center feel and overall steering response. The stock OEM part was also made by Monroe so I would consider this a good replacement for Motocraft.

It was as advertised and the main reason I purchased it was to control my F-350's tendency to wander when the front end is aligned correctly. It is black and does not come with a dust boot. The diameter is much larger than the OEM, and as such almost touches on the arm it is mounted to which would create a wear spot on the cylinder, just enough space. Once I had the right wrenches and a piece of cardboard to lay on it was an easy replacement. Snug but no hammers required. A tip if you do this, spit on the rubber it makes it slide a lot easier than dry, but no petroleum products, some rubber compounds don't like it. A quick easy and helpful little project. AutoPartsWAY did their part well delivery was on time.

I found some #'s on my old Roadmaster tow dolly stabilizer shock and they matched up with this on. saved $70.00 exact match.
