MOOG, do i need to say more?
-
So easy. Just ordered, it came and about 1 hour to install. You can never go wrong with a Moog part. They are the best!
-
A special tool is needed to remove the inner tie rod, it is a very tight space to work with. Also the removal tools are two different sizes from the stock tie rid to this one. as a different size from the stock tie rod.
-
A well built product. Installed perfectly in my Ford Edge.
-
Great product and went in place of the stock part with no issues. The grease fitting will help it last longer than the stock one did
-
-
Fit Like a charm. You can feel the difference in stock and Moog I'll take Moog. Every Part was an exact replacement. Difference was the Moog parts had a more substantial weight to it.
-
Great item and fantastic service ;-)
-
A great upgrade from the stock tie rod end. A big advantage is the zerk fitting at the joint. These are designed to be greasaible which is extends the services life of the part. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing."
-
Appears to be extremely solid and well made. Virtually no slop whatsoever in the joint.
-
Great price, fast shipping
-
Perfect fit, good quality
-
Product is great, would have been super if the grease zert, nut, and cotter pin was in the box with it like it was suppose to be. Would have saved a lot of time and hassle finding and buying the missing peices. The other tie rod end had them just not this one. If this review rating was for seller would be one star!
-
I need the left inner tire rod and left outer tire rod for my 98 Honda civic. My uncle jus received the wrong parts for his car. He only found this out after the shop discovered it while trying to install the parts.
-
-
Great item but would have preferred it to be received pre-assembled
-
-
it seems like a good part, I unfortunately haven't been able to get it on my car, as I've been dealing with the blizzards here in Mass and can't work on my car yet
-
-
-
-
Top notch replacement part.
-
-
-
I'm going to annoy a few of you. I bought this part from AutoZone for around $30 as a Duralast with a lifetime warranty. I've been researching the part numbers, 2 different numbers plus the ones stamped on the part itself lead me to...you guessed it...Moog. If I ever have a problem with it, I can just swap it out for free at my neighborhood store.
-
-
Great item for the price & got it on time
-
-
Went on with out a problem on my 1999 F350 2WD PSD
-
Getting your old one off the pitman will leave you feeling defeated. I know mine took me way too many hours and hammer blows. No pickle fork...But this one went on nicely and seems solid.
-
Auto parts of excellent quality. Have been established 3 years ago, and still no signs of wear. During this time, covered about 40,000 kilometers.Robust design ball joint, very durable polyurethane boot, the possibility of adding grease (I add every 10,000 kilometers).IMPORTANT! Before first use, add grease to the installed part.
-
The car rides much better with these parts.
-
A very good quality outer tie rod end. The S10 I have had already been through these parts before (at 373k miles) so I knew that Moog was the replacement I was going to use. It comes packaged well, decently priced, and fit and finish to the part is exceptional.
-
-
Moog parts are So well built and thicker than oem. . And greasable fitting is a bonus!
-
can't go wrong with moog. served its purpose.
-
-
-
-
I put these on a 1991 Lincoln Mark 7. I have 22 years experience in the auto parts sales trade. I would not use anything but moog on my car. There is a big difference between Moog and the cheap stuff. The cheap stuff will fit but will not last as long!
-
excellent quality. seems to be a good replacement for the heavy duty OE parts.
-
-
Used on 06 Mitsu Lancer. Fit and worked perfect.
-
fit perfectly, very well made. MOOG makes good parts.
-
quality part at a good price
-
work great, no issues.perfect fit on a 2000 Grand Cherokee. Been on a few weeks, nice firm sturdy ride, seem like good quality so far:MOOG-ES3472 - Lower Tie Rod End on Passenger SideMOOG-ES3473 - Lower Tie Rod End on Driver SideMOOG-ES3474 - Upper (Drag Link) Tie Rod End on Passenger SideMOOG-ES3475 - Upper (Drag Link) Tie Rod End at Pitman Arm on Driver Side
-
Dependable high quality parts.Moog is the only way to go.
-
Nevermind the picture, but the actual product is exactly what I needed. This part will work on either side, same threads.
-
omg my 01 Dodge Ram rides like a friggin Escalade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Moog worked great on my 2008 1500 ram made in USA I've seen this brand sponsor NASCAR good enough for them good enough for me!
-
Solid! Great quality. Love the grease fittings!
-
Rebuilt the front end on my 1988 grand caravan and the product fits perfectly!
-
Well made, solid; love the grease fittings!
-
-
The grease fitting hole was not threaded, so I had to tap it myself. Otherwise it worked fine.
-
Best price I could find. I went to the MOOG website and confirmed the part numbers for my 2001 Ford F250 for the entire front end kit and then ordered them from AutoPartsWAY--Saved $200 over the prices listed on there site for the package. All items fit just like or better than OEM. Unlike others mine included all the correct nuts and cotter pins--they are included in a small plastic bag in the box, make sure you hang on to them and don't toss them out with the box!!
-
-
-
Fit perfectly. Very beefy. I needed to replace my stock components after 190,000 miles, this fit perfectly.
-
-
it fit right and works great. I didn't realize how bad the old one was until I put the new Moog in.
-
Ya gotta love MOOG and their lifetime warranty.
-
So far so good got this for my 98 toyota 4runner been about 3-4 months since I've installed and it's still holding up well, although oem is what everyone should go with, you can't beat this price, FYI this part is the inner tie rods idk why the picture shows outer, if you are not sure go to moogs website and type in the part #
-
This was for my PT Cruiser. Worked great and super quality. I replaced the lower ball joints and the rack and pinion (CARDONE) and although a huge pain......drives great now.
-
Have this on my 99f350, 2003 f250, and my 2004 f250. All diesels. It's a must if you have a lift. The unit is longer to compensate for the lift and more robust. My trucks drive and steer great with these on them. Best price I could find was on AutoPartsWAY and they were all Prime. I will always put these on my vehicles.
-
There are many other Brands to choose from but I chose Moog because it is a name they is well know and so far they are working great and have no complaints.
-
I installed this on my 2003 2wd Ford Excursion. Next to the OEM piece that i replaced, the Moog is a tad bit shorter in length and circumference. There is still enough thread on the end to make necessary alignment adjustments.Just make sure to grease up the ball joint prior to driving. Easy to grease with the included zerk fitting.
-
The Mog Tie Rod end was the exact same length as the original and it was easy to install. The original factory component was a sealed unit while the Mog Tie Rod End has a grease fitting on top that allows you to lubricate it when you do your oil changes. The casting and the machining of the Mog components are top notch and they all fit together nicely. A real quality replacement part that will provide a safe ride for you and your family.
-
I bought two of these for a 2005 Grand Caravan. The price was cheaper than I could get locally. They arrived quickly, the packing was secure, no damage in shipping. Both tie rod ends were exactly as advertised. They went on quick and easy. I have put several thousand miles on them since installation and no problems. The handling of the van is clearly better and less noisy.
-
it works great you can tell it's made of quality.I use this on my 2006 Chevy Cobalt s/c if it's perfect.
-
just like the stock part, solid and perfect fit. a lot cheaper than the stealership. highly recommended for anyone planning to change out a broken part.
-
Purchased this as a replacement part on a '99 Honda Civic. Product seems well made, however the metal washer with two notches sticking out that are supposed to be fitted into the steering rack, the notches are too big and I had to clipped away pieces from it in order to have the washer fitted into the opening. Overall this seems like a solid product, although you might find better prices on similar inner tie rod product from companies like Pro Steer.
-
Good part. Fit on my 89 CRX Si. Easy to install, and the grease port is handy. My old tie rod was nearly bone dry. Just make sure you have the alignment done after install. I'd recommend doing both sides at once if changing both.
-
MOOG makes great car parts and this ball joint is no different. It arrived fast and in great condition. Installation was easy, should last a long time as I have experienced with other MOOG products.
-
Moog is second only to OEM. Part comes with jam nut, and castle nut also cotter pin. Part is greasable.
-
It worked ok on my ford focus 2004. alike the OEM part. seems good quality and was easy to install.
-
AS "MR. GOOD WRENCH", I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE NAME "MOOG". SO I WAS NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE PARTS I ORDERED. I WAS, HOWEVER, SURPRISED AND PLEASED WITH THE PRICE AND SPEED OF DELIVERY. TWO DAYS! I LOVE AutoPartsWAY PRIME! I SAVED NEARLY 50%.
-
Perfect fir stabilized my steering easy to install I would recommend getting this part especially for the price you can't beat it.
-
Installed for my 2003 Dodge Neon, great improvement over oem one car feel much sturdier no rattles/noises, I've paired em up with outer tie rod ends, and control arms, love moog products.Going to need to rent or buy the tube with adjustable screw, because oem is round nothing to bite on.. napa has one to pull the Oem inner tie rod end,
-
Good quality, heavy duty tie rod ends. Fit is perfect, on a side note...watch out when installing the zerk fittings, a tap may make it a little easier...other than that, great product
-
I replaced both outer tie rods on my 2006 Dodge Magnum with Moog. I only use Moog front end parts, the price on AutoPartsWAY was the best deal out there.
-
Perfect fit and about 1/3 less than auto stores. You get a high quality part that is probably better than the original.
-
I bought this as a part of a front end suspension project for a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer. They were easy to install, greasable and appeared to be of good quality. Have been on for about a month, no problems, I'm happy with the purchase and would buy again.
-
Disregard Peter Yoo's 1 star rating who obviously is unfamiliar with the high quality of moog parts. This tie rod, like all moog parts is simply the best money can buy when it comes to fair affordable cost. Sure, there are extremely high quality parts available for the hard core off roaders and rock crawlers by a brand such as Carly but for your average Jeep guy, moog can't be beat. Furthermore, this is simply the best price I could find on this tie rod both online and at the part store. Advance auto parts charges $260.00 for this same part which is a special order part and requires a wait time. 5 star rating all the way!
-
EXCELLENT PRODUCT COMES A TIME IN EXCELLENT CONDITION VERY RESPONSIBLE SUPPLIER, WE RECOMMEND 100% WHAT YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS CERTIFY
-
I purchased a pair of these inner tie rod ends to replace a failing right side end on my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. Since an alignment is required with replacing one, I decided to replace both at the same time. Moog is a name that I trust for fit and quality. There were no issues with installation and the looseness in the steering was corrected.
-
Just replaced all of my tie-rod/drag-link ends with the MOOG problem solver OEM replacement. This took about half or more of the play out of my steering wheel. I feel a lot safer when driving at highway speeds now.
-
I purchased two of these to replace my factory ones after 260,000 miles. The rubber boots are thicker than the factory set, the steel seems to be better quality, and overall, this is a good part. It was really easy to install along with the inner tie rod end. The truck handles better and the steering is firmer than before. 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4x4 Duramax
-
Replaced 108,000 original mile tie rods with these and tight steering feel has been restored. Steering feel is now awesome, just like new.
-
can't go wrong with MOOG fitment and quality. I bought this as a replacement part for an 85 cj7 and it's essentially an exact match.
-
Moog is #1 in steering and suspension parts. You are really limited with quality replacement parts for older vehicles but moog stuff looks, feels and works like oem
-
I have not installed the one I ordered yet. I was able to buy identical ones locally previously that I installed. One thing that puts these Moog tie rod ends above the other brands is the boot can be replaced and there is a grease zerk. I use my beetle as a daily driver and it is not to have this option. If I could have grease zerks on all tie rod ends and ball joints I would choose those products over others. The OEM parts lasted almot 40 years hopefully I get the same use out of these.
-
I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee v8 5.2. Perfect fit, took care of a lot of steering problems, very easy install. I will only buy Moog to replace worn out stock parts.
-
Always go Moog or OEM. Anything else and you will keep replacing monthly if you off-road often. Fits perfect and last a long time.
-
great price fast shipping advanced auto wanted 2x what i paid. so basically i got 2 for the price of one. these tie rods are far superior to the oem ones and they have a grease fitting.
-
Looks well made and strong. It comes with a grease zert which the factory installed one didn't so it should last a lot longer. It easily replaced the original one.
-
This product came with a cotter key and new bolt. The tie rod end removed from the vehicle didn't have a cotter key to keep the bolt from backing out. I was surprised how easy this product was to install. Hardest part was removing the old tie rod end.
-
This MOOG part goes perfectly with the Moog ES3455 Tie Rod End, if you're replacing your Tie Rods, I recommend replacing both pieces at once, you can't go wrong with this brand, the only thing required is patience, time and assembly, it's generally a good idea to get an alignment done when you replace these parts altogether.
-
Replaced the non-greasable stock tie rod end with a greasable joint. Easy install and makes for a more serviceable vehicle.
-
Replaced original worn parts with Moog parts. Typical Moog quality that I have come to depend on. Never any issues and made in the USA.
-
Fixed my problem with bump steer. I originally bought this same item and I received the wrong part in the right box. Drove around wildly for about 2 months and finally broke down and tried again to see if there was a problem with the original part.
-
Good construction and with grease fitting. Do not fit like the OEM. It is for a 2001 PT Cruiser. Will have to take to repair shop to see if this product will work properly.
-
Made in the USA. Went on a 2003 Chevy 2500HD 2WD just fine no issues. Took me about an hour to take off the old ones and put on the new ones. Then off to the alignment shop. Make sure you buy Moog ES3488 to complete the job.
-
I was a little worried about this product when I was going to put it in my Evo 8 but it worked great. I noticed that my local auto shop wanted a bit more then what they offer online, so I just purchased it on AutoPartsWAY. You will also need Moog Es3704 with this but it cam out to 45 bucks for both. I also used a HF tie rod tool which worked great. You need a grease gun too. It went in easy and its been on the car for about 5 or 6 months with zero problems. I have checked it here and there to see if it needs re greasing and its still fine.
-
This doesn't mean it wont fit the EVO, I just dont know. So far so good, easy to install. Just a heads up: it was a little difficult for me to thread in the zerk fitting, it just wouldn't thread in, so I used the light weight hammer to tap it in first, then twist until tight.
-
High quality part with excellent price through AutoPartsWAY, fast and efficient shipping, there was some missing hardware needed for install, luckily I was in no rush and AutoPartsWAY made it right and got my parts expedited for me so I could get the job done.
-
Matched up perfectly for my 1999 ford f150 pickup. All the needed parts were included. I saved a bunch of cash doing it myself.
-
Nothing sexy about a tie rod end. It fit my Plymouth perfect and was easy to install. Moog has a good reputation so I expect it to last.
-
Moog has always been my choice in front end and chassis components and a mfg of quality products for all makes of cars
-
$30 for a Moog steering tie rod is amazing. I think it was $50-70 at the auto parts store locally. Free shipping is a huge plus. The item is at or above OEM quality. It comes exactly like the picture and I am very pleased.
-
as good as or better than OE replacement tie rod ends for 15-30% cheaper than any dealer in town. Fit great
-
Chrysler 300 tie rod ends fit perfectly. No problems with the pruchase or the installation. Better than oem because they have grease fittings! A+++++
-
In line with Moog's rep, these items fit exactly and are of high quality. They also have a zerk fitting for grease, which as we all know, the manufacturers have omitted for many years, obviously to enhance their net. Moog thankfully is correcting this annoying trend and their products should be supported. Disclosure: writer has no financial interest in Moog.
-
I have always used moog parts, they are top quality parts and are heavy duty. I purchased moog tie rods also to complete my project, the oem were cheaper but with stuff like this spend the money now so you are not replacing the cheap worn out stuff next year. the part came with a dust boot, zerk fitting, tie rod end nut, and cotter pin.this is also known as the drag link.
-
Much better parts than the crap lifetime warranty parts that the auto parts stores sell. Quality parts at great prices. What more do you need?
-
Awesome price with shipping! I've never done a tie rod replacement but I had no problems. I'd highly recommend buying your tie rod replacement tool as well.
-
The component is exactly the one required and cost was was less than half of the best price of all local auto parts stores.
-
-
i USED CHEAPER QUALITY TIE ROD ENDS ALL FAILED!!-FAST!! CHRYSLER PUTS A LOT A LOT OF TENSION ON THE TIE ROD END ,,,YOU HAVE TO USE MOOG TO MEET THE DEMAND OR FACE POPPING AND FAILURE VERY FAST !!MOOD IS 2-3 TIMES HEAVIER,, STRONGER A MUST!! A MUST!! i FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY !!IN CHRYSLER CARS ITS MOOG OR--BUST -FAST!!
-
Changed this my self and saved a ton of money. You need to use a pickle fork tool to get the old one off, I rented it from the local auto parts store. Then got an alignment. Drives like new.
-
too many words are required to say that this is a good product at a good price. it met my needs.
-
Perfect fit 06 mustang, parts are very high quality, they come with everything needed, and work great, and are a perfect fit.
-
After purchasing the wrong tie rod, I was able to get this purchased and overnighted for my job. Fast response from AutoPartsWAY! Great part and very solid.
-
Exactly what the local parts house sells but much, much cheaperMoog is a name trusted by the pro's for not failing and if it does they back it up.
-
Once again, when it comes to steering and braking, you don't chince on the parts. Furthermore, when you buy Moog, you know you're getting the best, period. There is a reason why they laebel most of there products "problem solvers". Compared side by side with an OEM tie rod, even a lay-person can tell a difference in construction with the Moog product. Instead of putting your life on the line to save a few bucks, buy Moog and don't worry about having to replace them again for a very long time. Simply the best, and they cost less than half on AutoPartsWAY as they do in the brick and mortar stores.
-
Good product. I use Moog anytime I get a chance to as compared to oem or over the parts counter.
-
Just holding this thing you can tell it's a quality product. The boot is of a great quality heavy rubber, the steel is nice and heavy and it fit with absolutly no problems. And the best part is that it is made right here in America! No cheap Chinese knock-offs here. And works perfectly. Highly Recommended!
-
Installed this on my wife's van in less than 20 min.Took it to get an alignment and was done in 2hours total. The stealership (dealer) will charge you $300 to replace this!DIY! Easy-peasy.
-
Parts were a perfect fit. No problems. Came on time.I saved a lot of money doing it on my own.
-
Just what I need to fix my truck. Very fast delivery. Part is a lot cheaper than at the parts store. Two thumbs up.
-
These Moog tie rods include a grease fitting which should extend part life over permanent lubed versions. Moog is the recognized leader in top quality replacement suspension parts. AutoPartsWAY saved me $80.00 on a full set of 4 tie rods over my local Advanced store.
-
This product is just the same you would buy at any parts store for a lot more money. Where else can you get a great deal, then have it shipped to your doorstep, and never have to leave your house. I bought the left and right side with the same results.
-
This tie rod end has a grease fitting that must be screwed in and then you pump in grease into the tie rod end to keep it lubricated properly. I always like the grease fittings since I can always push in newer grease. Factory tie rod end doesnt have this and costs more as well. This Moog part is a bit thicker as well so will take more of a beating.
-
Bent my old one and found this one the cheapest on AutoPartsWAY. Install was easy and it seem's to be working fine. Thanks for the killer deal AutoPartsWAY
-
Heavy duty and includes everything you need.Took all of 10 minutes to install and since I marked the inner tie rod thread with a paint marker, the alignment shop did charge me as nothing needed to be adjusted (luck!).
-
Quality Moog replacement tie rod end. Grease Fitting and all hardware included. 10 minute replacement job. On a Pontiac Aztek, the castle nut will tighten about 1/8" past the cotter pin hole (hence only 4 stars). Not too big a issue, drill a new hole 90 deg to original hole. Paid $44 on AutoPartsWAY then realized Napa online sells this same part no. for $23.
-
great quality at a cheap price. van rides alot better. very impressed and satisified with moog. i recommend moog to others!
-
Changing the tie rods aren't that bad. None of the youtube videos I watched covers my car (Dodge Intrepid 2002). This product doesn't come with any instructions either. Still, once I took off the tires, it became pretty obvious what needs to be done next to replace the tie rods. The product seems to be well built. Better than the old ones for sure. Moog's own website and AutoPartsWAY both used this photo. But the actual product looks different. Still works for the model that it is designed to work on.
-
Great Moog quality at a great price. Most important, these parts come withthe Zerk fitting aka grease fittings. The cheap junk from China don't have it.Buy MOOG you will not be sorry.Parts made in USA or Mexico.
-
Saved a bunch on the part. You may need a special tool, or just have your local shop take care of the work.
-
Installed on my 97 Subaru Legacy L with no issues. High quality part, comes with a lifetime warranty. My steering is more sturdy and responsive now. Replacement lock washer and lock nut were included.
-
MOOG. The Problem Solver. Ha, I love this stuff! This is a top quality line, yet another winner from Federal Mogul. This stuff is built so well, it made the factory Motorcraft tie rods I took off look like they belonged on a go-cart. These are SOLID!!! And these have a grease fitting on top so you can maintain them with grease when you have the rest of your engine & chassis lubed (back in the day...they would lube all maintainable chassis parts (u-joints, etc.) when an oil change was done). So if you keep 'em greased, you won't have to worry about these babies wearing out anytime soon. GET 'EM!!! Quality USA made.
-
The quality was just what I had expected from MOOG, great feel. After installing them a year ago and riding on then on my Nissan Quest minivan, I am satisfied and will stick with MOOG branded parts. This is expecially true after seeing other cheaper like parts.
-
High quality product at a very attractive price. Free shipping was nice although it always takes a bit longer. Not that bad, though. I am very please overall.
-
I replaced the OE outer tie rods on my 2005 Chevy Malibu at about 112,000 miles. I chose the Moog replacement outer tie rod and believe this was a good choice. The OE outer tie rod was a hybrid design using aluminum and steel, where as the Moog outer tie rod was made from all forged steel components with a grease fitting. The stock tie rods did not a have grease fittings which I believe is not a very robust design because it does not allow serviceability as the vehicle ages. Very easy to install with limited car knowledge needed. I would recommend this part as a replacement. This is my second set of Moog tie rod ends I have purchased for different vehicles and have been very satisfied with the product each time.
-
My Altima needed to have Inner Tie Rod End replaced. Estimate for the part alone came in at $105.99 at local Monroe Muffler/Brake & Service. Then called small independent shop, that quote was for $77.35 for the part.A little research, and I found out that there was same Moog part available at various places on the Internet, and the best shipped price was on AutoPartsWAY.I've beat the local prices, with shipping - and gotten a superior replacement. The Moog link is so much better quality, even mechanic at the place where I had it installed approved Moog as the best replacement.
-
When I first saw these tie rods I thought they wouldn't fit. They were much bulkier than the stock dodge tie-rods which weren't even grease-able. These are massive and have grease fittings, they fit perfect. Will be sure to look for moog in the future.
-
Moog quality better then OEM part.Zerk fitting for adding grease as needed.Tough rubber boots will not crack likeoem boot.
