hardest part was getting the control arms out of my 03 Dakota RT, you reuse the outer shells so you just burn/drill out the old ones, clean up the shells, grease liberally with supplied grease and press in by hand, maybe a vise/c-clamp if needed.

Excellent product! Installed on my jeep TJ and it vastly improved handling on the road. Comes with poly lube for installation. Installation requires some mechanical ability. If you have a hydraulic press available, you can press the old bushings out of the control arms. I didn't so instead I drilled 4 holes through the old rubber bushings and then used a c-clamp and large socket to push out the metal bushing center. Once the center is removed, the old bushing can be prayed out with a screwdriver. The new bushings easily slip into place using the included poly lube. This kit does not include the track bar bushing. However, I was impressed enough with the improvements in handling that I ordered the rest of the bushings for the front and both track bars.

They are a pain to put in, but that is due to the control arms more than the parts themselves. We put them on our dirt modified and they worked great!

Well! I guess Energy Suspension did not bother to check whether this part fit Toyota Corolla models newer than 2006. after seeing the part on their website for model years 2003-2006, it really piqued my interest, so much so that I went ahead and purchase a single new rear axle bushing for 2003 Corolla and one for 2010 Corolla (stock bushings) for comparison, and to my surprise and excitement they had the same measurements, that means this part is a direct fit item, no modification required. So I used a hammer and a chisel to knock the stock rubber bushing out, which to be honest, require some effort, but the reward is well worth it in my opinion. The level of rear end stability is hard to describe, my Corolla has several different kinds of modification and this is by far the single best one.

This worked great but it is a universal kit. On my 1993 Cherokee I found the lower ones to long to fit in the mounting bracket. 5 seconds with grinder to shave it down it fit Great.

Good quality rubber eliminates the creaking noises in the back of my car. I love this type of new material as the ride is much smoother. The installation is not for the novice but if you're handy you should be fine.

Put these into the rear arms on my Rav. Took about 30 min per arm, unbolt ,press old rubber out, clean, install new bush. put some grease down past rubber boot into ball joint, reinstall. Fitted perfectly.I had a small press but could be done with a long bolt and spacers. Mark camber adjustment washers first so you can reinstall in same position, then when finished get a wheel alignment done. Got them to stop clunk in rear suspension, but when installing them, found that the hand/emergency brake cable was undone from bracket and banging on gas tank sending a CLUNK thru the rear of the RAV, but at this price still well worth putting in.

I'm not crazy about the quality you sometimes get from Energy Suspension. I've found their quality control to be off sometimes, but with minor work these bushings did work as intended. Overall a decent experience.

Have you ever driven a car will a full set of poly busings? As long as the rest of the suspension is in good shape (shocks, springs, ball joints, etc) these just make everything work better, or at least the way it should. I got these for a 2000 AP1 S2000, front, rear, and differential, now I need better tires. Just because they are now the weak link in an amazing machine. Installation is not easy, and takes some time, but bang for buck, there is nothing better. Thank you Energy!

Had these in about 6 months now, they provide a great improvement to handling; feels much stiffer. Installation of the control arm in the 7th gen Celica is a pain in the first place, but these make it a lot more difficult. Definitely clean up any dirt and grime very well where the bushings sit and then apply some grease to the subframe so you can slide them in easier. If you don't have access to a press to press out the old bushings you can burn them out, just be careful not to get it too hot or the bushing casing may work loose (you must reuse them). This happened to me I had to JB weld it in place to prevent it from moving up and down inside the control arm.

These bushings make a huge difference in the handling of the car. If your car handles bad, start by replacing all control arm bushings. It made a world of difference. I have noticed some squeaking in cold weather, but I drive a 95 civic. There are plenty of squeaks in my car.

This product photo is not exactly what you are ordering, you do get the bushings, although it does not say anything about having to resuse your old bushing cases before reinstalling the new Poly's. Not a big deal, I just can't use my usual technique for removing the old bushing from the control arms.Be gentle. And you'll be just fine.would have been 5 stars if that had been brought to my attention before purchase.

Replacement of the stock rubber bushings will give better handling performance to my car, but it does detract from ride comfort and interior noise, due to a pick up in harshness felt by (less rebound, more shock felt from bumps) of the polyurathane bushings. This product is also an item that if your using it plan on cutting out the old pressed in sleeve's and possibly tack welding the new bushing sleves in place. I hope this reveiw makes you more aware of work entailed and result(s).

Works as expected - only tough part of entire job, really, is getting the old bushing off / out. These go right back in easy - no trouble at all - but the grease is messy as hell - wear gloves to apply the grease...

This items are great, the instructions leave something to be desired but the product itself is great. I had bump-steer problems and certain areas on my way to work that always triggered it. With these parts installed, solid once again. You can feel the road and bumps a bit more but not too harsh. Steering feels solid now and no more bump steer worries. To remove the old shells, which will need to be reused, use a drill and drill the old rubber bushings all around the center steel sleeve. Push the sleeve out (I used a ball joint press to do this) and the rest of the rubber comes out. Realize there are some bushings that appear to sell the entire assembly with the shells so consider those if you want to save some trouble and time.

Bought this for a 1st gen Dakota. Energy suspension's online catalog has a misprint indicating it will fit for 1st gen.I was able to modify some of the bushings for the lower control arm. They work great and would buy them again for a 1st gen.Iam glad the catalog was wrong - I wouldn't have made the purchase and would not have new bushings.Make sure you cut the nuts off the control arm pivot shaft or you will break the shaft.

Love Energy Suspension products. I've installed them in just about every vehicle I've owned over the past 20 years or so. Problem is these were special order only. Made as required by the manufacturer per the vendor. I was goin to put them on while doing another job,but since I was planning on upgrading my swaybars in the spring and couldn't get them now I cancelled the order. Atleast the vendor was quick to let me know they weren't available quickly. Better luck next time, huh?

I purchased this kit for my 2001 PI crown victoria and it fit great. I didnt like the fact you have to reuse the original inner pins from the old factory bushings. It would be nice if they included all the pins and metal washers with the kit so you dont have to hastle with the old stuff. To remove the old bushings I used a torch to heat up the metal sleeves until the rubber started to smoke and then used large slip pliers to twist and pull the old rubber bushings out. You will need a sharp knife to remove the rubber from the pins.

I had heard and read that "es polyurethane" would cause a harsher ride than stock, but better control. Since my suspension was well worn, noisy, loose and just bad...I thought, why not try "es"? I did and I'm glad i did. All of the parts are designed to work together well..simple enough but not always the case. Getting the old parts off is much, much easier with heat..ie torch or inductive. The whole job took a few hours, but the results are worth the effort. my ride comfort has returned! No more clunking when stopping or taking off,no noise entering or leaving driveways,no tire slippage because the control arm moved wrong on take off and much more control in curves. I don't feel harshness at all, I feel the firmness & control in my suspension. So all in all, this kit did the trick for me and the price was right. Just what the doctor ordered!!!

All of the other bushings in my truck are from Energy Suspension and I have always been pleased with their product. The leaf spring eye bushings on the rear of my truck and the front sway bar bushings are all holding up fine after 6 years of daily driving - they still look nearly new with no slop whatsoever.I wish this product had come with the lower bearing shells, since pressing those shells out of the frame as a unit would have been easier than removing the hardened rubber and cemented pivot sleeve. At the very least, some advice from Energy Suspension on the best technique to perform the removal. Also, it would improve this product if torque specifications on all the affected bolts were included rather than having to reference a separate manual. All said and done, it does offer a much tighter feel on the road, although it also has increased the noise, vibration, and harshness slightly. They will also need periodic lubrication or they may squeak...
