This product was a good design and better then the original. It was a very very painful installation getting the top bolt back into the clamp. It took many man hours just to thread it back and get the clamp to close enough.

This Torque Arm Bushing (3.1112R) was NOT supposed to be a good fit in my 1983 Camaro according to the ad, but I ordered it anyway along with the 3.1110R and I'm glad I did because it was the one that worked best.

You can't beat Energy Suspension products.

Goodness gracious! A definite challenge to install correctly but well worth the effort. This part and the transmission repairs I did made a world of difference for this car I paid 800 dollars for.

I have an '88 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (GTA). A few months ago I started hearing a metal to metal banging sound when shifting gears. After crawling under the car to investigate, I discovered the factory bushing on the torque arm was essentially gone due to normal wear and tear. I found this replacement on AutoPartsWAY and ordered it. It got here quickly and I installed it right away. Problem solved. I have not heard one metallic clang since I installed it. I am very pleased with the quality of this part. It's made of urethane rubber and should last longer than the factory bushing. Of course, the factory bushing did last 25 years so I can't complain too loudly. 8-)

I installed this in my 2002 Camaro and I am very satisfied. For such an affordable item it definitely made the suspension more precise and sportier. But do not think that is going to make your car a Ferrari. Sometimes people read good reviews and expect too much. I am very in tune with my cars capabilities so this was a nice upgrade that allows me to push it more in the corners. I also believe the car carries itself better over bumps now, it use to get very unsettled now it tracks straight when I hit a pothole.

Thanks, shipped very quickly. These will work great. The Bronco needed this to help with the ride. They were exactly as described.

This bushing has put an end to the nightmare of clunking I've endured for weeks on end under my car. The installation was easy, and the car is now smooth and quiet again !

Best replacement bushing for the failure-prone Camaro torque arm! Solid one-piece design is far superior to the factory 2-piece and resists flex MUCH better! Only downside is that installation does require grinding/chiseling the rivets for the factory bushings to install and GM used two different style torque arms on the Camaro, so selecting the correct bushing can be difficult. Overall, though, best upgrade for stabilizing your rear suspension and sure to last a long time!

I installed these on my '03 E150 and what a difference it made in the steering. The steering is much tighter. My van only had 33K miles on it but you can really tell the difference with the new bushings.
