      These cured the looseness I could feel in the suspension when braking and going over speed bumps. These gave my BMW a much "tighter" feeling over all--best money I've spent on one of my vehicles in awhile !!If you follow some of the Beemer forums--products like these are labeled as cheap/inferior and as not lasting long--maybe so they've only been on the car a couple weeks, so time will tell. These are made in China--HOWEVER they appear to be very well made, are marked right and left and were a perfect/easy fit. If my opinion changes over time I'll update here.UPDATE* 3/8/14 A year later and still going strong !!---I'm VERY pleased.

      I've had my 2004 BMW E46 325i since it was new. Just a few months ago, at about 75,000 miles, I noticed several symptoms. A knocking in the front right every time I stepped on the brake or took my foot off it, a slight stutter in the steering wheel at the same time, a soft bouncing sound from the suspension when I hit a bump, and a bit of lag when turning hard into a corner. After little online research I decided the front lower control arm bushings were likely at fault and I was willing to attempt the repair myself.I selected these Dorman bushings based on price and the name, and I'm glad I did. They look identical to the BMW factory originals, fit perfectly in place, returned the handling to the way it always was, and are nice and quiet.Technically the job is a very simple one, a small handful of screws and bolts is all you need to remove to gain access and pull the old ones off.
