Apparently this is the highest quality for this Boot kit in the aftermarket. Not quite as thick/heavy duty as the original boots that were in sad shape after 25 years on the car, but better quality than other similar aftermarket products Still...4 stars is not bad. I would recommend the Monroe boot kit if the OEM boots are not available. In my case OEM was not available/out of production. -

I was apprehensive about ordering this strut boot kit from Monroe, it being an aftermarket product.However, it seems to be designed to original manufacturer specs, and at about the same quality level as the original.Its also made in the USA not China.No corner cutting to reduce cost here. The kit costs as much as the OES parts.What makes this a winner: the boot snaps tight onto the bump-stop making installation notably easier than with the original parts.I deduct one star however, because the Tie-strap mentioned in the description is not present, even though its also mentioned in the instructions on the box.The tie strap was not lost during shipping or because of bad packaging. Its just not in the kit. I already bought two of them from different sellers. Its the same with all of them. It is however, a minor issue and does not affect performance. -

Tried to use the old boot off the old struts but that didn't work. Went to every parts store in town, same answer, Don't have it, can get it shipped. Went to AutoPartsWAY, found the item, overnighted, put both on. Gret product, do not try to use the old boots. Simple to install if you read the intructions 1st.
