not that much difference. If you're trying to buy this to repair a wobbly shifter, this isn't it. This makes the shifting a lot stiffer. Might not be for an every day driver because it almost feels like there isn't enough transmission oil and it's slightly hard to get into gear, but that's just the bushing causing it to be really stiff. The feel of it is great if you don't mind the stiffness when shifting. Overall, pretty ok. The round bushing that inserts to the transmission was a hassle. I had to heat it up with a heat gun to soften it so i can squeeze it into the shift linkage. Otherwise it was really hard to put into the shift linkage. The other part goes under the shifter and was easier to install.

Great upgrade for your Honda/Acura. Does exactly what it advertises. I've used ES bushings in every Honda I've owned since my 91 civic. They never fail to impress me with the improvement in feel. The only way to make them better is to pair them with a quality short shifter (not some ebay junk one)

I installed these on a 97 Del Sol Si. Overall, very easy install. However, the round bushings seemed to be slightly oversized for the shift linkage and were hell to push in. Usually when I've seen these split bushing designs that go in from both sides, they're super easy. These took my whole body weight to push in and with the polyurethane grease on them they would just immediately pop out and shoot across the room. There was no way I was going to be able to hold those things in while crawling under the car AND lining up the shift linkage. Wiping off the grease allowed them to stay put, but I know that's not the best installation for PU bushings. So far I haven't noticed any squeeking though.Shift feel was a huge improvement. Very clicky and precise. For <$10, these are totally worth it. Though I do wish they had made the round bearings just a tiny bit smaller so they weren't so ridiculous to push in.

Purchased these to replace the factory ones on a ZX2 I purchased recently. Double check the transmission you have, though. Mine has a Mazda tranny and it looks nothing like the Ford one in the repair manuals. It shifts WAY better than before. Good solid feel and way less play.

I recommend this to anyone who has floppy shifter play. I bought my 1996 Civic HX with lots of shifter play, I didn't even know if I was in gear or not, apparently I was most of the time. After I installed this. Takes maybe 20 min if your just going in and out. But if your are like me and you spent most of your time lifting the car up and making sure it's safe to go underneath, cleaning rust out from the underbody, and bolting points, along with making sure your bolts are still good, then this might take you a little less than two hours! I definately say buy. For $13, it will be the damn best upgrade I have and will ever do to this car!

I bought these bushings in the hope of crisper shifts, less shifter wobble, and more shifting precision. When, however, I tried to install them it took all i had to get the bushings into the end of the shifter linkage. After about 2 days I finally got it together and when it's supposed to go. the end result is indeed a slightly crisper shift with that extra precision. these bushings are worth the couple bucks for them and you will not be disappointed with the outcome.

Easy to install, the hardest part is removing the old worn out bushings. Very stiff compared to factory bushings providing excellent feel. Definitely revived my worn, wobbly shifter.
