- MTX and NSS Brand Radiators have a push-in style Fan Switch provision. Defective pressure caps or hose blockages can cause the pressure to exceed the radiator's designed limit, leading to damage of the radiator or the engine. A new cap is recommended. Some manufacturing processes place small cuts on the sideplates to make the radiators more resistant to vibration.
