Some manufacturing processes place small cuts on the sideplates to make the radiators more resistant to vibration.

- Depending on the brand of radiator being installed, some vehicles may require removal of the transmission cooler line adapters from the radiator and/or use of adapters that may be enclosed with certain radiator brands in order for the cooler lines on the vehicle to bolt up correctly to the replacement radiator.
