Great product - perfect fit on my PT Cruiser.

This is the correct BOTTOM radiator hose from Dayco used in a 1998 Ford Explorer V6 (X) engine. This molded/curved radiator hose fits perfectly without trimming. I replaced all heater hoses along with both top and bottom radiator hoses. I tightened each hose using Breeze stainless steel clamps. After putting everything back together when it was time to turn the engine over and check for leaks, presto, NO LEAKS! I have used Dayco products for many years without ever a problem. Thank You AutoPartsWAY for selling great named brand products and service coupled with FREE delivery right to my door, arriving safe and secure.
-
Same shape as the OEM hose. Does not come with internal spring so make sure you take out the old one. I just turned it like a screw to remove & install
-
My 1998 Chevy Tahoe that requires a hose specifically made for that vehicle. It starts out going toward the rear of the car, then toward the driver side, then finally toward the front of the car and the radiator. I looked at the several choices available on AutoPartsWAY, where I do almost all my shopping to save gas and time, and this one stood out as looking like it would be the best. When I received it, it looked awesome. When my mechanic installed it he said it fit perfectly and had more protection than the hoses from ACDelco and other manufacturers.

-
Better made than the seemingly OEM one it is replacing. Have not installed it yet but it is clearly more sturdily built than the one that is installed now. Waiting for a dry weekend where I can install this along with a new 180 degree thermostat.
-
correct product, great price.
-
Perfect fit for my 2000 4X4 SR-5 Tundra V-8.
-
-
I haven't yet completed the repair to my car to see how well this works but it's a hose......not much more to say. It fit and is in new condition.
-
Exact match for my 1999 SOHC 4l Explorer. Fast shipping.
-
-
Great quality product. May have to trim the hose for the GM (3100 / 3.1L V6), (3400 3.4L V6) applications. It's a great buy for the price, they are becoming hard to find..
-
the real deal....not a private-label substitute
-
-
-
The hose needed to be trimmed to fit the jetta. Other than that, I can't complain.
-
Fit well to 2002 Sonata LX V6.Though not an easy stuff to do without a lifter. I suggest using, or at least prepare one ready, a worm gear hose clamp for the lower end instead of the genuine spring clamp as it's very difficult to move it in when you not have a lifter.
-
Good fit on my 1998 Suburban. I normally buy Gates or Goodyear hoses, but this one was quite a bit cheaper and the quality is on par with the others. It was exactly the same shape as the OEM hose and went on perfectly. As long as it holds up like the other makers, this is a great hose when you're working on a budget.
-
Only needed a slight trimming to fit exactly.
-
This is exactly what I ordered and it was an exact fit with only a small adjustment to it's length
-
With only a slight modification of length it was a perfect fit.
-
You will need the quick fit there's no way to possiable get oem hoses off the plastic ends the clamps they use for BMW are pressed on impossiable to re-use had to overnight the correct quick fit hose to put car back together if not for that they are as described
-
Perfect fit for my '01 Cherokee, but I had to use my old spring since this doesnt include one. Not sure how important it was, but im surprised it didn't come with the hose.
-
It was the right configuration, but I had to trip off both ends to make it fit exactly. Not a big problem.
-
Had to cut a little to make it fit perfect but other than that product worked great on my toyota
-
Good quality and great fit for my 2006 Ford Explorer (V6 4.0L). Purchased when I replaced the radiator for my vehicle.
-
Not much to say, it's just a water hose. Simple to install and I've never bought one that didn't fit.I'll be upfront and say this, I have a bias towards DAYCO products. I prefer their water hoses and drive belts. I think they offer better material quality, fit and durability over the usual competition, e.g. "Gates" or "AutoZone Branded Products.Having worked at a popular Autoparts store and Speedshop for a number of years, it's just my opinion that DAYCO are the most reliable.
-
good hose. I paid 7$ and the next day it was $18. The upper hose was $4.00 and the next day its 15$. try and figure out this lottery!
-
Perfect fit!! Great price and as usual the prime shipping in two days makes it able to know you can take things apart and guaranty the part will be there!
-
Quality seems good, and fit well on 1992 Camry. I guess that I will know more after 100K miles and the radiator leaks or not.
-
Dayco 72045 Lower Radiator Hose. Needed to replace my hoses and went to the parts store saw the price, Went on AutoPartsWAY and picked this hose up for half the cost. very heavy duty hose.
-
It arrived in a timely manner and has been installed on my vehicle's new radiator. It seems to be quite good and I don't anticipate any problems.
-
Have used Dayco products in the past , & they have been of a good quality . This hose is no exception . Went on my van with no problems , fitting as it was supposed to . Has been in daily use for awhile now , & has worked flawlessly .
-
I have had a lot of problems with poor quality replacement parts lately. This one did what it was supposed to and gave me no issues so I'm happy with what I got for the price here.
-
its rubber, it holds antifreeze, and doesnt leak, what more could you ask for? it does what its supposed to do.
-
Dayco quality hose was the correct fit for my 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser quick delivery for this time of year .The thickness of the hose allowed me to reuse the spring hose clamps again .All is good
-
This hose was the correct one to fit my 2008 Chevy Impala. No problems with installation. Would purchase again if needed.
-
Great replacement lower hose for '04 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.8L. High quality, perfect fit, and reasonable price. Received next day with AutoPartsWAY's one-day shipping.
-
Didn't need to replace it, just bought to have on hand. Other day I hoses have been great and have never let me down.
-
I bought this with a replacement radiator AutoPartsWAY had put a plastic loop threw the hose. I imagine it makes it easier for storage, it doesn't leak because its close enough to the end but it just seems like a odd thing to put a hole threw a hose that's supposed to hold water
-
This hose was correctly shaped for its purpose, installed without incident, and has been doing the job for awhile now.
-
This hose worked great on our 1984 Toyota Celica GT fastback. Fit fine between the intake and the bypass line coming out of the water pump.
-
Great fit, no problem with this product and I recommend this products to anyone who need to replace heater hose.
-
This hose was a perfect fit for my 99 Jeep XJ. It seems sturdy enough and hasn't leaked or deformed or anything after a week of use so I'm happy so far. Two things to note about replacing the lower radiator hose with this product: One, it does not come with a new inner-spring and is soft enough when cold for me to easily collapse it with my fingers so you should definitely pull the spring from the old hose and put it in this one before you install it. Two, it doesn't come with clamps so you will have to reuse the ones that you already have (no surprise there). I recommend putting a screw-type hose clamp on the end where it attaches to the water pump, as there is little room which makes the factory spring clamps difficult.
-
Received quickly...price was perfect...no complaints from me! had it installed by family friend and he said installation was a breeze.
-
Check your product factory item number online or call local auto parts as sometimes the wrong product is sent. These are new so they do the job. Grab new clamps as the old ones do wear out. Good luck.
-
Fit my '97 Suburban perfectly and it works great so far (3 weeks). The original hose lasted 16 yrs and 102k miles. Hope this one does the same.Would buy again without reservation. Prompt delivery too.
-
I ordered this hose for my 97 Suburban. Fit perfectly and works great so far (about 3 weeks). Would buy again.
-
it is a perfect fit, seems to be superior quality. I installed it 2 months ago and is doing great. will recommend.
-
Fit and helpful.I bought it for my 1999 Nissan Altima. It works fine after replacement, and perfect fit, recommand it!
-
A bit thinner than the O.E.M hose so not sure it will last 120K like the factory hose did.Fits well and I figured I was there changing the radiator might as well freshen the hoses up.So far so good.
-
This hose seems pretty high quality, and it fit my 1995 suburban k1500 exactly as the factory hose. Note that you need to keep your old hose clamps as those are not included.
-
Good Product and Price matched up with my application and everything went on and fit well. I recommend this product.
-
This is a basic radiator hose. It seems to be good quality, but it will have to run for awhile to really know. Seems properly rigid.
-
The bypass hose felt alittle soft so instead of breaking down on the road-figured I,d replace it,great price and great shipping ,Happy Man
-
I bought this because I couldn't find one locally at any price. It was pricy but when I got it I found out why. The last one I bought locally was really thin and flexible. This one is very thick and rigid and should last a lot longer. It was worth the extra money.
-
Pre formed and ready to go. It is an exact fit it looks like. The price was good and quality good. I haven't put it on yet,but all looks right. g1
-
need a hose for my truck, price was about same if i had bought it locally, but decided to buy with other parts. perfect fit.
-
almost perfect fit. About a inch or two longer than factory hose. Still fit fine on my 3.1 v6 chevy lumina.
-
2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0L - MR20DE upper radiator hoseItem fit fine after cutting about 1" off one end and 0.75" off the other.
-
This was used to replace lower radiator hose on 2002 mitsubishi montero sport with 3.5L engine. It fits perfect with no problems. It is a little thicker than original so the original spring clamps would not go on. I used new band clamps.
-
Exactly the part I needed for my 2.5L Jeep TJ 2002, I work at Pepboys and sell the same exactly product. Got this hose cheaper on here than with my discount at Pepboys lol. OVERALL: Good quality, LOWEST prices, yes even lower than RockAuto. Got a few other hoses on here as well with same results.

Bought this to replace the 150k mile old hoses on my wife's 2004 Corolla. It seems to do the job just great.

-
i find that the ends must be trimmed in order for it to fit perfectly. otherwise it sits to close to the ps pulley.overall its good enough for me and it cost a lot less than the oem or other brand names. dont wait till your hose leak or blows up. have one ready always in your trunk.
-
Fits '95 Chevy K2500 5.7 350. It works well. No problems. Quality is fine. Consider buying new clamps as well.
-
like the title state the hose is a direct fit and a great product!! 2002 toyota tundra v8 .. couldn't be happier
-
This lower radiator hose appears to be made of the same materials as the original it replaced. It's exactly as described; nothing more, nothing less.
-
I recieved the hose looked the same or better quality if i was to have bought it from the autoparts store. Installed the hose with no problems ran the car after installation and seems to be holding great.
-
Replaced OEM hoses with these. As the description indicates, you have to cut to fit. Hoses were easy to cut with a sharp box cutter. The shape is not an exact match to the OEM hoses but close enough. You can use this model for both upper and lower hoses. Keep original spring tension hose clamps because they seem to work better than the worm drive ones. Its been installed for almost a month and no issues as of yet.
-
Replacement for old hose when I replaced my starter in my 98 Corolla. Seems a little thicker, so I ended up buying new clamps, the screw-type that you use a screwdriver to tighten as opposed to the pinch-type that you pinch to open. Not sure what they're called. Point is this is a thick hose and you might be prepared to need larger hose clamps. Other than that it fit perfectly and for the last few months I've had no issues. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
-
got the dayco hose for half of what it would have cost me at auto zone. hose arrived in 2 days in brand new condition. hose sold by seller was exactly what they said it was. no more hose leaks for me now. :)

As our old Wagoneers and Cherokees get fewer and fewer, certain parts become harder to find. Both Gates and Goodyear seem to have put out a poor fit for out FSJs, the hose is too short before the bend at intake manifold. I have found the Dayco to be the only one to fit. Cut about an inch off of each end and it works. Thanks DAYCO for keeping me from using a flex hose.
