Installation of these running boards is easy and secure because they use the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system. The underside of each board is equipped with a channel that accepts a set of heavy-duty bracket inserts. The inserts move along the channel to fit your truck, and the mounting hardware provides a secure attachment. These running boards are designed to fit specific years of the Ford F-150 (NOTE: This set of running boards includes vehicle-specific VersaTrac mounting brackets. See the application information to verify compatibility with your vehicle). ARIES RidgeStep running boards are not only made for easier installation, but they are also built to face the harsh elements of the commercial job. They feature high-strength, solid steel construction for a step that can keep up with those steel-toe boots, and they are completely without plastic parts, meaning they will not crack or fade over time. This particular model is constructed from 304 stainless steel. 304 stainless is high in nickel content, allowing the bull bar to easily resist water, road salt and rust and maintain its mirror-like polished finish in spite of the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, textured black steel and semi-gloss black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 2-1/2 in. bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 2-1/2 in. bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment.
