- When you need an emergency engine shutdown system, then BD has the solution that is hard to PASs up. Some industries such as mining, oil refinery, forestry, mobile welding, septic removal and refueling require some vehicles to have an emergency engine shutdown in place. The most effective method for this is to cut the air supply to the Diesel engine ensuring fuel ignition to cease. With BDs Positive Air Shutdown (PAS), an inline butterfly valve is placed in the air intake line and when activated by its heavy duty electrical solenoid, the engine will shutdown within seconds.Standard applications include automatic over-speed electronics and CAC pipes included for some vehicles. The PAS butterfly valve design reduces the number of parts and the overall size as compared to competitive units. Aluminum and stainless components plus weatherproof electrical connectors are used to prevent corrosion. Easy installation with no welding needed for hose retaining beads by utilizing innovative bead boot locks.

Heavy duty accumulator plate to prevent accumulator blow-out. Electronic Pressure Control module that delivers up to 250 PSI clutch apply pressure providing 150% of the holding force prevents clutch slippage. All of this without modifying the transmission pump or removing the transmission. Controller dynamically adjusts the hydraulic apply pressures based on turbo boost/engine load. No tuning required. Installation takes 2-to-3 hours to complete without having to do a full transmission relearn since no internal tolerances have changed. A 'fresh' stock transmission will have the ability to handle up to 500hp. For higher power or demands, a complete BD 68RFE transmission with additional clutches and new designed components is recommended.

- Allison transmissions utilize variable line pressure that adjusts to different engine load to improve fuel economy. The problem with this is that it drops line pressure after a shift, causing clutch slippage and failure in higher powered trucks. The BD pressure controller module boosts line pressure up to 275psi when the engine is over 15psi boost and runs stock pressure under normal conditions prevent harsh shifting. The kit is fully plug-and-play. It plugs into factory connectors and requires no special setup.
