- TONNEAU COVER ADAPTORS BACKRACK(TM) does not make Tonneau Covers but we have created an accessory called the Tonneau Cover Adaptor Kit (TCA). This kit allows you to install certain types of Tonneau Covers with BACKRACK(TM) and Safety Rack Cab Guards. CLAMP TO THE RAIL TONNEAU COVERS Backrack(TM) Cab Guards sit on the bed rail at the front of the truck bed, over the front Stake Pockets. Tonneau Covers that encroach on this area are generally not compatible with BACKRACK(TM) products. Certain Tonneau Cover manufacturers clamp their covers to the inside rail of the truck bed, exposing the area above the Stake Pockets. These type of Tonneau Covers are compatible with BACKRACK(TM) Cab Guards. HOW DO THE TONNEAU COVER ADAPTORS WORK? The TCAs simply lift your BACKRACK(TM) Cab Guard up by one or two inches depending on your trucks make, model and year. BACKRACK(TM) Cab Guards need that increase in height to clear the Tonneau Cover. The TCAs also include extended Stake Pocket Bolts (SPBs) to replace the SPBs that came with your BACKRACK(TM) Cab Guard originally. These extended SPBs are required to accommodate the increased height. IS YOUR TONNEAU COVER COMPATIBLE? We have created a Tonneau Cover Compatibility Chart listing covers that are compatible with BACKRACK(TM) Cab Guards. Before purchasing a Tonneau Cover, be sure to refer to this Chart. - Our new LOW PROFILE DRILL Hardware Kit is available for select late model fullsize trucks. These require you to drill two holes through the top of the bed rail for installation. If you must have the Toolbox sitting at bed rail height this is the option. Four carriage head bolts secure the assembly allowing you to place the Toolbox at a low profile using existing clamps that came with the Toolbox. Drill if you must. - SERIOUS STRENGTH: We get it. You do not want Siderails that try to look tough but have no purpose. BACKRACK(TM) Siderails are industrial grade and designed for trucks that push the envelope of on-the-job abuse. Heavy gauge HRPO tube is fully welded to an angular base that runs the full length of your truck bed. We expect you to overload your truck. BACKRACK(TM) Siderails are ready to handle whatever you bring to the job site. RUGGED GOOD LOOKS: If it wears the BACKRACK(TM) brand name it has to be work ready, but it can still look good while getting the job done. BACKRACK(TM) Siderails are designed to compliment the angles of our Cab Guards. Siderails install with or without our Cab Guards and are fully compatible with Crossbed Toolboxes. SIMPLE NO DRILL INSTALLATION: Drop them on and bolt them in. It is almost that simple. Once you secure the custom Stake Pocket Bolts into the stake holes, the Siderails drop into the pockets over the bolts. Turn down the nuts with a ratchet, and finish the installation by inserting the plastic caps inside the stake holes to hide all the fasteners. Very slick. TOOLBOX FRIENDLY: BACKRACK(TM) Siderails are available for both 6.5 ft and 8 ft bed lengths. The Tube Rail is available in two configurations: the FULL RAIL, which extends the full length of the truck bed and the TOOLBOX RAIL, where the Tube Rail stops short to accommodate the insertion of a cross bed Toolbox.
