The Double Lock EZr mounts underneath your truck bed with compatible gooseneck installation brackets and provides a removable 2-5/16 in. gooseneck trailer ball with a gross trailer weight capacity up to 30,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 7,500 lbs. Using the heavy-duty operating handle, the trailer ball can be unlocked and flipped over whenever necessary to allow full use of the truck bed. For easy one-person installation, the Double Lock EZr comes with the CURT-exclusive center locator. This simple installation tool inserts into the gooseneck trailer ball hole during installation and shows exactly where to drill in the truck bed, eliminating errors and the need for meticulous measuring. While a gooseneck hitch gets all the glory above the floor of your truck bed, gooseneck installation brackets provide sure footing and a solid foundation for that oversized gooseneck trailer. Gooseneck installation brackets work by bolting onto the frame of your truck, typically using pre-existing holes. With a set of brackets firmly bolted on, a gooseneck hitch is able to be attached and is given the strength it needs to manage the massive amount of weight of a gooseneck trailer. With so many gooseneck hitch options available from CURT, we wanted to make sure we offered the gooseneck installation products needed to give you a complete towing package. Our installation brackets fit multiple vehicles and hitch heads. This particular set of gooseneck installation brackets is specifically designed to mount a CURT Double Lock EZr gooseneck hitch on certain years of the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD (see application info to verify fitment). It features a laser-cut construction for a precise fit and is rated to the vehicles maximum gross trailer weight capacity. To make things even easier, this gooseneck hitch kit includes both the under-bed gooseneck hitch and the vehicle-specific installation brackets. The combined kit makes it simple to get your truck ready for towing by eliminating the need to purchase two different parts. It includes the #60611 gooseneck hitch and the #60624 installation brackets to fit certain years of the Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD (for a complete listing of compatibility, see the CURT application guide). Installation of the Double Lock EZr requires only one person, using retainer clips to keep bolts secure and the center section fully supported while mounting it into place.
