The Double Lock mounts underneath your truck bed with compatible gooseneck installation brackets and provides a removable 2-5/16 in. gooseneck trailer ball with a gross trailer weight capacity up to 30,000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 7,500 lbs. Using the heavy-duty operating handle, the trailer ball can be unlocked and flipped over whenever necessary to allow full use of the truck bed. The Double Lock comes with solid safety chain hookups, an attractive chrome trim ring, a durable carbide powder coat finish and a limited lifetime warranty. CURT gooseneck hitches are a premium option in the heavy-duty towing industry, but they are only one of the members in the heavyweight tag team that is CURT gooseneck towing. While a gooseneck hitch gets all the glory above the floor of your truck bed, gooseneck installation brackets provide sure footing and a solid foundation for that oversized gooseneck trailer. Gooseneck installation brackets work by bolting onto the frame of your truck, typically using pre-existing holes. With a set of brackets firmly bolted on, a gooseneck hitch is able to be attached and is given the strength it needs to manage the massive amount of weight of a gooseneck trailer. With so many gooseneck hitch options available from CURT, we wanted to make sure we offered the gooseneck installation products needed to give you a complete towing package. Our installation brackets fit multiple vehicles and hitch heads. This particular set of gooseneck installation brackets is able to work with certain CURT Double Lock gooseneck hitches. It is rated to the vehicles maximum gross trailer weight capacity and provides a custom fit for certain years of the Dodge Ram 1500 (excluding air suspension) (see application info to verify fitment). With each gooseneck installation bracket sub kit, we provide the necessary hardware for an easier installation, and we coat our gooseneck brackets in a liquid Bonderite coating to make sure rust and other potential damages are not a problem.

- The CURT OEM puck system 5th wheel slider adapter for Ram pickups combines the functionality of a CURT 5th wheel slider with the strength and convenience of Rams truck bed puck system. The adapter is designed to securely mount a CURT 5th wheel slider and hitch head into the bed of your Ram truck, using the OEM puck system. It is designed to fit the puck system in select model years of the Ram 2500 and 3500 with 6.5-foot bed (see application info to verify fitment). It features a set of adjustable, quarter-turn anchors to quickly and easily drop into the pucks and provide a moveable platform for the 5th wheel coupling point. This puck system slider adapter is specifically designed for short-bed trucks and requires the Ram puck system for installation. It features a capacity of 24,000 lbs. and is compatible with most CURT 5th wheel heads (weight capacities are limited to the lowest-rated towing component). Like our OEM puck system 5th wheel legs, the key feature of the Ram 5th wheel slider adapter is its quarter-turn anchors. With the hitch head and slider initially bolted onto the adapter, the adapter can easily be dropped into place whenever needed and secured with the quarter-turn anchors. The anchors can also be adjusted to help eliminate chucking noises between the adapter and under-bed platform while towing. When you are finished towing, simply turn the anchors to remove the entire assembly within seconds. The CURT 5th wheel slider adapter for Ram pickup trucks provides the ultimate in versatility for the CURT 5th wheel line. With a gross trailer weight capacity of 24,000 lbs., it is able to accept any CURT 5th wheel slider, including the R16, R20 and R24. It tested for safety in accordance with SAE J2638 and is coated in a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish to protect against scratches and rust.

This particular class 4 hitch fits certain years of the Ram 3500, 4500 or 5500 and Dodge Ram 3500, 4500 or 5500 (to verify vehicle compatibility, see application info). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 10,000 lbs. GTW and 1,000 lbs. TW. It can also accept a weight distributing hitch, offering a maximum WD capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a WDTW of 1,200 lbs. CURT class 4 tow hitches are as much suited for work as they are for play. With their high load capacities, they are typically used for towing larger trailers, including everything from a double-axle utility trailer or livestock trailer to a full-length camper or large boat trailer (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). All CURT class 4 receiver hitches come with a 2 in. receiver tube opening and all the necessary hardware for a complete installation. Using the heavy-duty operating handle, the trailer ball can be unlocked and flipped over whenever necessary to allow full use of the truck bed.
