- Whatever your task at hand -- whether its launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Nissan Frontier and Suzuki Equator (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 5,000 lbs. GTW and 500 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 8,000 lbs. WD and 800 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2 in. receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid Bonderite and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.

The components of this 38K kit easily drop into the truck bed pucks, instantly equipping the truck for gooseneck towing. The kit includes a gooseneck ball, safety chain anchors, a rubber hole cover and a durable storage case. It is designed specifically for the Chevrolet, Ford, GMC or Nissan Titan XD puck system and cannot be installed without it. It is rated for 38,000 lbs. GTW and 9,500 lbs. vertical load. The OEM puck system gooseneck ball perfectly fits into the center ball hole and provides a 2-5/16 in. ball to fit most standard gooseneck trailers. It features with a patented installation system, operating with a simple quarter-turn latch lock for ease of use and a secure mount. Retention balls, built into the shank, keep the gooseneck ball fixed into the receiver hole and keep your trailer locked on tight. Also included in the kit are CURT OEM puck system gooseneck safety chain anchors. Like the gooseneck ball, these patented anchors are made specifically for Chevrolet, Ford, GMC or Nissan Titan XD pickup trucks with the puck system and provide a reliable connection for your gooseneck trailer. They feature a simple drop-in installation system with no tools required, and they offer large safety chain loops to accept heavy-duty clevis hooks. These safety chain anchors are constructed from heavy-duty, cast steel and have a highly durable powder coat finish. Finally, this gooseneck puck system kit includes a tough rubber hole cover to keep water, dirt, grime and rust out of the gooseneck ball hole. They utilize the truck bed mounting platform, called the puck system, built into certain pickups today with the towing prep package. Using a set of anchors, the legs quickly and easily drop into the pucks, instantly equipping the truck to accept a CURT 5th wheel hitch head. This set of 5th wheel legs is designed to fit the puck system in select model years of the Nissan Titan XD with 8-foot bed (see application info to verify fitment). With a gross trailer weight capacity of 20,000 lbs., the legs are compatible with most CURT 5th wheel hitches (weight capacities are limited to the lowest-rated towing component). The most unique feature of CURT OEM puck system 5th wheel legs is their quarter-turn anchoring system. This system is the key to streamlined 5th wheel towing. - However you define adventure -- whether its climbing onto the back of a mountain bike, hunting from the top of a tree stand or camping with the family a long way from nowhere -- CURT class 1 hitches provide a light-duty towing receiver to help you Bring It. Each is made to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of smaller vehicle types, including the compact car, crossover, minivan and small SUV. This particular class 1 hitch is designed to be a custom hitch for certain years of the Nissan Altima and Maxima (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a weight carrying capacity of 2,000 lbs. GTW and 200 lbs. TW. It is equipped with 1-1/4 in. receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount shank or other hitch mount. This class 1 hitch also comes with all necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube size, a class 1 hitch is especially useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also typically be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). Though CURT class 1 trailer hitches are only intended for light-duty towing, we apply the same principles of quality as we do to the rest of our rear mount hitches. Each class 1 hitch is made with hands-on engineering, high-strength steel and precise welding. We use a co-cured finish of liquid Bonderite, inside and out, and durable black powder coat to provide a lasting defense against rust, chips and UV rays.

This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Nissan Altima and Maxima (see application info to verify fitment).
