- The rear brakes of most Rover models 1987 thru 2000 have a tendency to make noise. This 'noise' or 'squeak' occurs no matter what brand of brake pad is used. Through some field research we found a cure for this 'noise/squeak' circumstance. The installation of 'Dampening Plates' in the rear caliper piston should eliminate the noise caused by piston/pad friction. * Requires '2' plates per caliper. (* Dampening Plate part# 928 351 096 18)
