- The Nissan dealer doesn't offer replacement gears for the power seat motor. This gear will replace the stripped gear on the driver's side front seat motor on most late model Nissans. In order to determine the gear type needed, the gear on the old motor will need to be removed and examined. This gear has a short neck and a smooth inner bore (6.95mm or 0.273" diameter) & includes a non-magnetic collar to replace the original magnetic collar. Depending on seat design, one or two gears may be required.
